  1. Thank you so much for keeping us all in the picture. The hotel looks wonderful, especially the oysters! We are on Infinity on 28 November, so will be following your reports with great interest. Hope you have a wonderful time. Lynne 🙂
  2. I rang Celebrity yesterday and was advised that once on board we should contact the IT team and they would help by telling us the most effective place (presumably close to a router). But, we have taken your advice and pre-recorded the lecture, just in case! Thank you for all your help. Lynne
  3. Thank you for your replies. All very useful information. We are not in a suite Jim_Ian, just a concierge room. We will do as you suggest, John, and set up a test call early on and go from there. Infinity does have Starlink, which should really help. Lynne 🙂
  4. Hi All, My DH is due to give a Zoom lecture to UK participants whilst we are on board Infinity at the end of November. It is due to take place on a sea day, off the Spanish coast. Does anyone have experience of using the premium wi-fi on board for business use please? Thank you Lynne 🙂
  5. From the UK for certain, if you buy the wine in the Duty Free shop at the airport, after going through security, you can carry it onto the plane. Or you could buy the wine after you arrive in the departure port, before embarking.
  6. Interesting question! I've often wondered if it depends on how full the ship is and therefore what the income to X for that sailing amounts to. Once when we were on an Azamara sailing, most of the other guests were part of an organised group - 600 or so and only 50 or so independent guests. We noticed a definite downturn in the quality of the food, compared with a 'normal' sailing when the food quality is wonderful. Also once on X we had a similar experience when the ship was only half full. Does the Food and Beverage Manager/Director have a budget to work to depending on these factors, I wonder?
  7. Hi Anchor Banker, We are sailing on Infinity on November 28th this year from Barcelona, two sea days, then Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, sea day, Casablanca in Morocco, Cadiz, sea day, Valencia and back to Barcelona. So 11 nights. We thought it was a great mix of different, interesting ports and sea days. Expecting it to be rainy in mainland Spain but hoping for some sunshine in the Canaries and Morocco before winter. Barcelona has so much to offer. We have stayed there many times and are always happy to revisit. Cadiz and Valencia are wonderful.
  8. Happy Birthday! 🥂 What a wonderful way to spend it. Loving your posts. Thank you so much for 'taking us along' with you.
  9. Not a physical paper letter, but I received an email. I book through my TA.
  10. Thank you so much for taking the time to 'take us along with you'. We are on Infinity towards the end of November and have booked OV 3140, which is, I believe, in the same area as your stateroom and has the large window. When I checked on the spreadsheet on CC relating to stateroom info, several people said their rooms in that area were noisy. Have you experienced a lot of noise? Love your info and photos. 🙂
