Hi all!
General spa question for those who have used RC spas before.
Do you find the sales on the ship or the pre-cruise sales are cheaper? I will still tip based on the regular price/additional but I wanted to get the best deal on the service itself if possible.
Thanks!

This is really good to know! Thanks!

Perfect! Thank you!
I figured as much, but my anxiety was getting the best of me

Hi all!
So I read other posts by my anxiety has me asking again so apologies in advance.
We sail in 11 days and my husband's passport expires in September. We are doing a closed loop cruise from US to Canada to US. I am bringing his birth certificate too just in case, but do you think we will have any issues?
Thanks in advance!

We booked for only my husband and I. No issue not booking any for the kids. Our sailing is coming up this month

I don’t think they keep milk cold enough to drink. I’d suggest putting a carton of milk in a plastic bag with ice, and then putting it in the fridge. I know I’ve had bad experience with trying to have milk for my coffee.
Good to know. Thank you for the heads up! I will have to get extra ice and bring some bags with for it. 🙂

Coolers yes, except grandeur of the ones I've been on. It would help to know for sure if you let us know what ship you are asking about.
We will be on Liberty of the Seas.
I only need it for our 1 year old in case she wakes up at night needing milk.

Before I call RC and sit on hold...
Does anyone happen to know if every room has a fridge in it? I plan to request one if not but figured I'd ask first.

This is all great to know! Thank you!
Is the nursery more selective in how many? I’d assume so since they need more attention. (I’m aware of the charge for it but nice to know it’s an option for a kid break)

It is possible to fill up. How often is totally dependent on how many kids are on the boat, and how often they us AO. Some cruises have 5 kids. Some have 1k. Just depends.
Thank you! I don't plan to use AO often either, but would like it to be an option for him if he wants to go play with other kids.

I can only answer the first one. You can preregister when you check in and also take a tour on the first day. You just present your s&s card when you drop them off and pick them up. There was no sign in. They had specific hours 9 to 12, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10pm on sea days and maybe 9 to 4pm, 7 to 10pm on port days. Then they had the night owls which was from 10 to 1am at an additional costs.
The staff are very much trained and very professional. My 6 year old still remembers their names and the games that they played.
Thank you! This is really helpful!

Hi all!
I have cruised with Royal three times but never with the kids. We are going in a few months with our DS (5) and DD (1). I have a few questions and Royal keeps sending me to the FAQs which is not really helping me.
If anyone can give me more details on some of this I would be so grateful!
- How does Adventure Ocean work? Do you have a beeper, wristband, or something? Do you sign them up for times or just go and hope for the best?
- Same goes for the Nursery. How does signing them up work? I know this is an additional cost but we are thinking of doing a kid-free dinner one night. Also, are the staff trained for children and go through background checks? (Can never be too careful these days).
- Also, does the splash pad on Liberty of the Seas allow for swim diapers? I never got a true answer on this one.
Thanks all!

It all varies.
On our last one (in October) we got it assigned at the 30 day check-in.

I think it would depend on what the insurance policy says (I personally don't know much about it). But I do ope for a speedy recovery of whoever is ill.

Working in the shops, we did not get any sick pay. If we took a day off for illness, we didn't get payed for that day. It might be different when I switch to my new casino role.
Thanks! I always wondered as illness can happen to anyone.

Thank you for sharing this!
I do have a question, do you get sick time like any office job? -

If no one bids, then perhaps the upgrade fairy will return??! haha
We can all dream, haha!

Thanks @Host Clarea and @Biker19. I was always curious.

Question about this.
If no one bids, will the minimum bid allowed go lower? I've always wondered.

Thank you all!

Your welcome.
We get the hot room service breakfast every day so we can sit on the balcony in our pygamas.
The breakfast is much better than the old hot breakfast which was free.
That is good to know!
We like to sit on the balcony in the mornings too. I just wanted to make sure I was tipping correctly so that no one got left out.

Good to know! Thanks!
I wasn't sure if they were really "sales" or if I was being ridiculous
