  1. Hi all!

General spa question for those who have used RC spas before.

Do you find the sales on the ship or the pre-cruise sales are cheaper? I will still tip based on the regular price/additional but I wanted to get the best deal on the service itself if possible.

    Thanks!

  2. Hi all!

So I read other posts by my anxiety has me asking again so apologies in advance.

We sail in 11 days and my husband's passport expires in September. We are doing a closed loop cruise from US to Canada to US. I am bringing his birth certificate too just in case, but do you think we will have any issues?

    Thanks in advance!

I don’t think they keep milk cold enough to drink.  I’d suggest putting a carton of milk in a plastic bag with ice, and then putting it in the fridge.  I know I’ve had bad experience with trying to have milk for my coffee.

Good to know. Thank you for the heads up! I will have to get extra ice and bring some bags with for it. 🙂

Coolers yes, except grandeur of the ones I've been on. It would help to know for sure if you let us know what ship you are asking about.

We will be on Liberty of the Seas.

I only need it for our 1 year old in case she wakes up at night needing milk.

I can only answer the first one. You can preregister when you check in and also take a tour on the first day. You just present your s&s card when you drop them off and pick them up. There was no sign in. They had specific hours 9 to 12, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10pm on sea days and maybe 9 to 4pm, 7 to 10pm on port days. Then they had the night owls which was from 10 to 1am at an additional costs.

The staff are very much trained and very professional. My 6 year old still remembers their names and the games that they played.

Thank you! This is really helpful!

  6. Hi all!

I have cruised with Royal three times but never with the kids. We are going in a few months with our DS (5) and DD (1). I have a few questions and Royal keeps sending me to the FAQs which is not really helping me.

If anyone can give me more details on some of this I would be so grateful!

    • How does Adventure Ocean work? Do you have a beeper, wristband, or something? Do you sign them up for times or just go and hope for the best?
    • Same goes for the Nursery. How does signing them up work? I know this is an additional cost but we are thinking of doing a kid-free dinner one night. Also, are the staff trained for children and go through background checks? (Can never be too careful these days).
    • Also, does the splash pad on Liberty of the Seas allow for swim diapers? I never got a true answer on this one.

    Thanks all!

    Your welcome.

We get the hot room service breakfast every day so we can sit on the balcony in our pygamas.

The breakfast is much better than the old hot breakfast which was free.

    That is good to know!

We like to sit on the balcony in the mornings too. I just wanted to make sure I was tipping correctly so that no one got left out.
