If you have loyalty on RCI I believe you are now given drink vouchers to use at any bar at anytime during the day. 4 for Diamond, 5 for Diamond Plus and 6 for Pinnacle. I will get 5 so I will be quite happy with that arrangement!

You need a hell of a lot of cruising nights to reach that level though, geez! That's not the average person asking these sorts of questions here nor would they have the need to! They would have that knowledge.

This information is of no use to the og poster and is an obvious way to flex your status of which nobody cares. 🙄

Your onboard account will be in USD and charged at the end of your cruise. Request that it is charged to your credit card in USD not AUD otherwise you will get a very, very bad exchange rate ( Google Dynamic Currency Conversion). If possible use a credit card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees.

I sentiment this post exactly! Use an Aussie credit card and ask them to charge in USD!!! If need be, even open a bank account that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees before departing just for this alone, it does make a big difference and choose one that has favourable exchange rates over others. From experience, I can recommend Citibank.

(I also use this account/card whenever I travel overseas, cruising or not). I have not been able to find a bank that's been able to challenge them in any of the above yet, even on exchange rates. If someone can prove me wrong, please do! The alternative would be to find a great exchange rate before boarding and purchase US dollars and settle the account via cash onboard before disembarkation.

I dont think that is the full answer to your problem.

Yes, you cant see signatures on a Mobile but you never could.

However Gnome 12 and myself cant see it on here either.

Not sure how Globaliser got a Screen grab   UNLESS that was an earlier attempt and at the time you were logged in to  CC.com

Maybe on this attempt you were logged into  CC.Com.AU

in which case the signature wont work  - hasnt of 12 months or so.

Your last post looks like this  on my laptop

Go back and read my post on how to change it.

You might get away with copying the code that I posted

and putting that into your signature  as that is what it should say After you delete the .au

Thank you. I will give it a shot!

First of all, you have a signature that looks like the following, so that is the first question answered:-

So the question seems to be why you can't see your signature. Can you see anyone else's? For example, I have a multi-line signature.

If you can't see other people's signatures either, then you may simply need to switch on the display of signatures. Go to your user name near the top right-hand corner and click on it. In the drop-down, click Account Settings. On the next page, in the column on the left-hand side, click Signature. Make sure that the switch for "View Signatures?" is on. If it isn't, switch it on, and click Save (below the text entry box).

Yes I made sure I had done all that thanks after seeing your post. The problem someone picked up on was that I must have been on a mobile site, which I have been this whole time and that was the reason why I wasn't seeing my signature. Doh! Thanks for the screenshot! 😊

  5. I've been doing everything right but signature still isn't showing so I'm thinking perhaps it could be because I'm using Google Chrome as my platform as I've read in another thread that people have changed to IE and it's worked for the. I sail in 13 days and I don't think I'm going to get it created in time. I'll have to try and get to the library!!

  6. Hello. I'm just wondering if anyone has first hand experience of being able to hop onto a tour bus upon arrival at Isle of Pines (from locals offering them) and if there are people able to take you to specific sites on the island? The sites that we're particularly interested in going to are:

    * Turtle Bay/Brush Farm

    * The Natural Aquarium

    * Visit St Joseph Bay and ride in a native outrigger/Pirogue

Ideally, we'd like the opportunity to be able to get into the water with the turtles if they're around because they're very friendly and it's my daughter's dream to do so. So in saying that, we don't want to just go on a boat ride, we'd like to stop and be able to jump in the water.

Jean and his private tour company are booked for that day and another has yet to respond so I don't like my chances of being able to book a tour before departure. So it would be peace of mind to know that we might be able to get something being offered on the day by locals near the pier. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  7. Have you sailed yet. We have booked cabin 1858 panoramic ocean view on Explorer of the seas and are interested what is it like. We are a couple travelling with 16yrold boy and 14yr old girl. Not exactly happy that the brother and sister have to share, but not much we can do. Let us know what you think. We are sailing on the 13 Nov not long now

Hi there. No I haven't sailed yet. Our cruise isn't until February. I hope you have an awesome time on yours coming up soon! If you could take some pictures of your cabin and post them here, that would be great and I'd really appreciate it.

  8. Hello everyone,

I've just booked cabin 1858 on Voyager in one of their new Panoramic Ocean View staterooms and would love to see a floor plan and photograph of it. Having a lot of trouble finding either online. Very frustrating! They vary in size from 191 sq ft to 215 sq ft and as this cabin has a sofa bed, (it sleeps 4), I'm hoping it's one of the larger rooms, (215 sq ft).

Anyone who has stayed in any of these rooms with a sofa bed, I'd love to hear about your experience. Thanks in advance :)

  9. Greetings! I just got back from an 11 night cruise on the Voyager of the Seas in one of the new "Larger Panoramic Ocean View" staterooms on deck 12. I had a hard time finding photos of the room before we booked it so I thought I'd share a video that I made of the cabin:

Overall we LOVED it! The closet was on the small side, but the 5 floor to ceiling windows were awesome!

Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help if I can!

There will be 4 of us staying in just the regular Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom/1858. Any idea of what they looked like inside? The configuration? I know our window won't be as big as yours and the other 2 people will sleep on a sofa bed. Really interested to know, as like you, cannot find any photographs.

    Thanks,

    Angela

  10. I took a screen grab of RCI's confirmation and printed it out to take with me - paranoid much! :)

Can someone please help me here? I'm absolutely FUMING! I called first thing this morning to get the special onboard credit promotion and was told to call back tomorrow as they were having difficulty. As the day progressed, there was something quite not right and I thought I should have got a name so if something suspect was to happen, I would have a name of someone I'd spoken to.

So I called again (only to be cut off) and a third time, was on hold for 20 min, (as the first call). The person I spoke to said that the promotion was running until Monday and that there were difficulties putting credit to our accounts and I said that I heard other people had, so he put me through to someone else to verify if there was still a problem. The person in admin, then told me that the promotion finished at 1pm today. I wanted to speak to someone higher and he told me that apparently it was an error out of Miami, that it ever existed. It was a "mistake". I demanded I get the credit as I was told this morning that I could call back tomorrow and do so. Not only were they deterring me from acquiring it because it was never meant to be but they gave me false information, telling me that I could get it tomorrow. Then the first guy I spoke to on my last call, said I had until Monday. I keep getting different responses from the same company!

So there's obviously been a big stuff up somewhere and I've been discriminated against as some were able to get this offer and others, not. He said it had finished 6 hours ago, yet I had called 9 hours before. He really did not care about how frustrated and upset I was. I've read reviews and forums where people have found customer service through RCCL to be appalling. I was hoping to never have to use it but they've lived up to their name. He then proceeded to tell me that it was in their terms and conditions to change or stop a promotion at any time but he had just told me that it was still current when I called!

I had planned on spending quite a bit on board but not only do I not feel like spending a cent nos, the cruise itself and the company have left me with a sour taste in my mouth.
