  1. Oh heck yeah!!! Melissa on a B2B??!? I'm deliciously hydrated already!!!
  2. Thanks! Appreciate it! I may need to go back and relive it myself.... 40 days til Venezia...
  3. It USED to (as in one year ago) be $15, otherwise I wasn't charged the $3 overage. I've seen it in Pig & Anchor on the Vista and Excel class ships and in the steakhouses on Conquest and Spirit class ships. Drank it so much on Glory last March they gave me the little horse when the bottle was gone 🙂
  4. Posted a LIVE on my 12 night Pride post-drydock in Europe last summer if anyone is interested...
  5. Did we ever solve the SPF mystery? Maybe I missed it.... I have it on my upcoming Pearl sailing and I'm not solo...
  6. You definitely CAN, but NCL charges a 3% fee to do so. Kinda chintzy IMHO.
  7. Thank you! Yeah, unfortunately the pools were pretty chilly. The last couple of days some folks made it in in the late afternoon when it warmed up enough, but for the most part the hot tubs stayed packed
  8. It's the "Find My" feature that comes built in to the iPhone. Same way i track my AirTags, devices, etc.
  9. For sure! I just love visiting (and sailing away from!) too many other places! In the summertime, when I go solo, I may start going full @Jamman54 and road tripping it soon. @HelloItsMeB will not have that, which i totally understand, but by myself? I love the good road trip, and I have come to absolutely despise almost everything about air travel as I get older. The most turbulent flight I've ever had last night didn't help matters.
  10. The good thing is these district snapshots don't count as a grade for the kids. Just a data collection thing we all have to do. No prep required. The bright side for me is that it makes for a pretty easy day, which I really needed after last night.
  11. I'm a shell of myself today. Thank goodness for a district snapshot test
  12. I wasn’t gonna do it, but this isn’t true on this flight. Womp womp
  13. when air travel is involved, it’s never over til it’s over. At least if I’m on your flight.
  14. So I make it through security and go through the big body scanner machine… I come out, the TSA agent sighs, and says “sir, I’m sorry for you and for me….” (I think he’s joking with me at this point) “….but I’m going to have to do is physical search of you in these areas. I look at the screen, and the little man is glowing bright red exclusively in the crotch and…. Back crotch. He puts on gloves and asks me if I want to do this in private…. I just looked down and mumbled “Nah… it’s fine right here” vacation is over, y’all. #insertjokehere
  15. omg, I went through a very similar saga once! It’s so stressful! I think it’s the lack of communication more than anything.
  16. If MIA terminal G isn’t the worst terminal in a major American airport, I never want to see what is. At least I’m sweating profusely too. Lucky for me everyone around me is too.
  17. aw man I thought we were done with that stuff! Turns out my plane was a couple hours late getting out of Chicago, maybe there’s something up there too
  18. Getting antsy and the time is moving back in the right direction, so Fransisco’s got me. I had an incident once when the airline delayed me by an hour or so but then just basically said “never mind, we’re putting this flight on a new plane” and we left on time. Ever since then I’ve been just a little wary of buying 100% into delays when I’m not at the airport yet
