  1. Did they already install Starlink onboard Beyond? My DH has been on the Freedom of the Seas two weeks ago which was the try out ship and it was excellent. We did a video call via WhatsApp. No problems at all. steamboats
  2. You can find all bar menus of the POA here. steamboats
  3. Denise, Greece has dropped the tests for cruise ship passenger on September 24th, 2022. Therefore Celebrity does not require tests anymore for cruises having a Greek port. But Celebrity still requires a test for cruises longer than 9 nights (which a TA is). NCL is dropping this requirement by tomorrow. But NCL still has a testing requirement for Greece. steamboats
  4. Interesting... Greece dropped the tests for cruise ship passenger on September 24th, 2022. Celebrity doesn´t require a test anymore for cruises having a port in Greece. steamboats
  5. Yes, deck 8 - The Ocean Boulevard. Here´s my InstaReel walking around deck 8. steamboats
  6. Yes, and the Espresso Martini isn´t included either. There´s a cheaper version of Bailey´s included in the package. With Celebrity you pay exactly the difference between the Classic and Premium package when you want to upgrade from Classic to Premium. And it´s the same with NCL. What you may question is the regular price of the various packages... steamboats
  7. "Selbst ist die Frau!" as we German ladies would say... and as I have currently "lost" my handsome German-English translator somewhere in the Atlantic sea... He´s off for four weeks on three different cruises... steamboats
  8. I´m pretty sure it will be bilingual - German and English. But nothing on their website. What´s also a bit weird... they are offering 3, 4, 5 night trips (out of Vienna and Budapest) - which in general is a nice idea. But...not worth the travel for an American/Canadian/Aussie. And even from Europe (inkluding UK) you need to fly and than it´s not worth booking. Even with the cheapest category I would end up with 2,000 Euro at least for a 3 night trip. steamboats
  9. These are the child proof balcony door locks. As you can see they are higher up than the balcony rail. The door opens with a handle you have to turn up or down. You can see it here. Full cabin description can be found here. steamboats
  10. Nevertheless, that´s why they let you pay for it... It´s "Dinner Entertainment", not regarded as a regular show. Regular entertainment is free. steamboats
  11. Unfortunately this was changed about a week or two ago. Now there is no flat fee anymore between Miami Airport and Port of Miami. It´s all metered and you end up with app. 50 Dollar one way. steamboats
  12. It´s not Cirque du Soleil... The Spiegel Tent was regarded Dinner Entertainment including a dinner. That´s what the charge was for. But they kept the charge for it. But the regular entertainment in the theater, Cavern Club, comedy is free. You grab a table anywhere. On the table there are tablets like iPads. You can order from any food outlet in the Indulge Food Hall including beverages. Everything will be delivered to your table (but not at the same time). The desserts (free ones and the paid ones at Coco´s) plus Starbucks Coffee are not on the tablet. There you have to go and grab them on your own. For breakfast it´s self service. There are maps on what to find where on the screens at each food outlet for orientation. steamboats
  13. All major rental car companies did have free shuttles to Miami airport and the rental car stations there. The downtown locations are only small ones and some only have a desk in a hotel. steamboats
  14. The theater can accomodate 700 people when all seats are out. You don´t have to purchase any tickets. The shows are for free. But you are highly advised to make reservations in advance at the box office. And BTW shows are free on the Epic too. They cancel all reservations 10 min prior to the show and then you can just walk in (if there are still seats available). steamboats
  15. Interesting... When I try to book and English website opens. And I start from the German website. I couldn´t find anything about what´s included. There are 11 excursions listed with no pricing. Those are obviously top priced excursions (helicopter flight, balloon ride...). So it sounds like regular shore tours are included (which is not usual on the German market). No word about beverages and whether they are included. They might have to add a bit more of information. They might target English and German speaking guests but no word about the onboard language. And all prices are shown in Euro. steamboats
  16. But Crystal was not focusing on the German market. Riverside is a German company. For US or other countries Vienna and Budapest are quite good locations for embarkation or disembarkation as both cities do have international airports. For us Germans we have to fly to Budapest or Vienna (actually from Munich I can take a train too). Deilmann did the classic Passau roundtrip when they owned the Mozart. steamboats
  17. Interesting itineraries... as it´s a German brand I´d expected the regular routes starting in Passau. But most cruises start in Vienna or Budapest. And the prices are pretty steep for the German market. steamboats
  18. We once used the one inside the train station. steamboats
