  1. Yes, I understand that.I guess I'm trying to get an idea if it's similar to the Medallion on Princess or like Magic bands at Disney. But it doesn't sound like it.. they have radio signals that connect for charging to your account onboard etc etc
  2. Can anyone tell me ... does the app unlock your stateroom door and can it be used for payment onboard? thanks!
  3. Thank You! Appreciate the tips ...I searched for a thread and didn’t find, my thanks.
  4. Anyone tell me what's to do in this port? Never been ...nice beach (s)? Beach day? Thanks!
  5. Yes, in Penthouse category , so still should book ahead though! Final payment in a couple of weeks 🙂 So many thanks, sounds wonderful !
  6. Is it necessary to prebook for the specialty dining reservations? Thanks!
  7. Is there a contact for Georges Taxi? I searched the first 3 pages and can't seem to see and also searched the forum. Odd .. My thanks
  8. 2 separate questions .. 1)Anyone have any favourite services with roomy vehicles? Need transfer port to hotel and hotel to airport 2 days later. Problem seems to be most say 1 pc of baggage. There will be 2 large suitcases - 2 carry ons and perhaps a backpack? I know cars can be small but minivan too big for 2 people. 2) Again - anyone know of a driver or transfer service who will pick up in Rome and drive to the Tuscany area? THANKS!
  9. Anyone have any favourite services? Need transfer airport to hotel and hotel to port next day. Problem seems to be most say 1 pc of baggage. There will be 2 large suitcases - 2 carry ons and perhaps a backpack? I know cars can be small but minivan too big for 2 people. THANKS!
  10. Perfect ! Thank you!
  11. Anyone know is Venezia Terminal Passagerri the same as 'Venice Harbour' pier? Thank you!
  12. It sure is!!!! Happened to us in London as well but fortunately we realized it after one ‘go round’ so that wasn’t too painful. Always good to have another pair of eyes looking for signs and warnings when driving in the major European cities !
  13. Oh my!! Sounds like Italy lol Few years back we toured Italy and my husband drove all over for 3 weeks. Our last nights were in Rome so we didn't require the car any longer. We were with another couple and hubby dropped us at the hotel and left to drop the car 'somewhere' around the train station. In hindsight , someone should have gone with him to be his lookout but didn't! He couldn't find the drop off circling around and around Rome for more than an hour. Way more , almost 2! Finally he parked it and got out and went right into the station and found the car rental company kiosk, closed at 2 in the afternoon but there was a drop box for keys so he deposited them . Called there next day to ensure they'd been recovered and all was well. In the weeks that followed we received 800€ in tickets - for every time he circled the station the city 'proper' limits - a fee of 100€ was assessed. Adore Italy , but ...and my beautiful son in law to be is from Ferrara not far from Venice and totally concurs with the shortcomings and mindset of the workforce lol
