  1. I do prefer getting the statement the night before disembarking. Last 4 cruises I have gone to Guest Services and also use the machine near GS to print my own folio.
  2. On my last two cruises on Royal & Regal in past year it was very noticeable that there were less crew servicing the MDR & buffet areas. Much different from my previous cruises.
  3. You pay only 50% and it is charged to your credit card now. No OBC involved.

  5. This same one made errors in my Sun suite booking. Told us to buy FCD on app ourselves and told us the D0 category on SUN included Signature benefits- which was wrong. Regal in Feb. I am sure others are more helpful. On the Royal in Sept the female was very helpful.
  6. We tried this. They are now handed over to the on-board Future Cruise dept/ princess promotions people. Gave us a real difficult time and it never got added to our account. Regal in October

  8. Yes, it is becoming the norm. Good advice above to find a travel agent and not deal directly with Princess. I do not deal with Princess CVP, others do.
  9. SUN- PH suite. Rather then Signature suite. Caribbean Princess- Vista suite.

  11. Absolutely! Except I would not count on it if life threatening. They cannot get too many things right anymore in my opinion. They do have it noted on the app, but I have found no follow through, lately. The head waiter and the food manager will need to be alerted on the ship. Too much information does not get passed on. Also, communication issues exist- not all serving passengers understand English or accents. This is my opinion.
  12. I will add that I have spent money in the shops, spa, casino & specialty restaurants, but much less recently. My cabin mate is very good at entering draws and lucky at bingo, so we’ve ended up with a few excellent freebies.
  13. IMO- Princess does not follow through very well anymore. You need to speak to the staff in the dining rooms each day. you are probably making the right decision, however on my last HAL- cruise, I and a few others could not eat much of the meals in the dining room- poor quality food and few vegetables.

  15. I stopped purchasing the plus packages after two tries. I am standard fare: As elite I pay 1/2 price for wifi. I order 12 pack of small bottle water to have in my cabin. I am allowed to bring on 12 cans of soda per person. i pre pay the daily pp gratuities. No need to eat at Speciality restaurants. i tried OceanNow delivery $14.99 to have drinks, room service delivery once, but will not anymore. We get up and go get our own. So you can cut out quite a bit. i like Celebrity but refuse to pay more for a refundable deposit.
  16. The call was not a CVP. I think it was Promotions as voicemail mentioned my booking.
  17. You do not have to deal with them at all. you can use your own travel agent or book online yourself and call Princess if need be. The CVP that kept calling and emailing me had access to my bookings and was so annoying & not straight forward over an issue, that I contacted Customer Relations to block her. some on here have had a great experience with their CVP.
