I'm Sapphire and i've been on about a dozen Celebrity cruises (all free). My last cruise (Edge last year) was the 1st time i ever received a letter in my cabin about visiting FCV for a free cruise. All others i call BCC when i got home. So unfortunately, i can't risk doing your strategy.

When i was on Edge last year, i got a piece of paper on next to last day saying i have a free cruise and visit FCV. it wasnt as fancy as yours. it was just typed on Celebrity letterhead. And the cruise i wanted were out of Verandas so couldnt book. maybe the $10/day were the tips for your upgraded drink package?

When i was on Edge, it only had Americano. 😞 it did not have options for Espresso. edit: it is locked when the Spa Cafe isnt open.

So add more pull down beds to cabins? Knowing mgmt (Del Rio), it'll be sacrificing public space or make the ship bigger since it's unlikely most cabins will have 3rd and 4th passengers. Heck, on Celebrity, they added an additional floor (all suites) to the last ship of their 'S' class. I'm assuming it didn't turn out well since they didn't make more

well, there was a HUGE design change in the joy/bliss/encore. that's why i keep advocating that the Escape be demoted to Breakaway class. the design change is that lifeboats are made internal to the ship instead of overhang. being internal means they can traverse the new bigger Panama locks. with overhanging lifeboats, they are too wide to go through even the new locks. and you can't remove the lifeboats while crossing because of maritime law of lifeboat space for every person on board. (think of the disaster of the Titanic) 😮
