  1. Celebration because I'm not flying out of Orlando again. If they were both in Miami I'd go Mardi Gras.
  2. No. It does impact debarkation morning. If you’re used to getting a coffee on cheers debarkation morning, you’ll have to pay for that. That counts as the first part of embarkation day.
  3. There is no Texas law preventing Carnival from selling Cheers on Day 1. Princess does it. It just starts after sail away. Carnival uses it as an excuse to make people pay for individual drinks the first day and lies to you about it.
  4. Jamaican Sunrise Vodka, peach schnapps, passion fruit, orange juice, cranberry juice
  5. Well they don't have to wait for the sailing. They just need to find a live thread from Celebration where someone posted their dinner each night and match that up to the menus.
  6. The OP is asking for the menus for specific days on a specific ship. For that I wouldn't trust anything other than someone actually doing it from that ship. I can tell you JH was posting menus from Horizon the week I was on Jubilee and the order of the menus was different. Best bet is going to be a live thread from the Celebration.
  7. I'm not a big fruity beer drinker. I have had both but not enough to tell the difference.
  8. Covington no. Abita...which is also in Covington...yes. Abita also does the strawberry. In fact you can get it on the ships that have Emeril's.
  9. But Carnival could easily slide Firenze up to Seattle from Long Beach which also has the roof. Maybe they will in the future but it doesn't seem to be in their plans right now.
  10. Sure. But let’s not act like we’re one big cross-over family. If I’m on a Carnival cruise and say I want to go to Alaska they aren’t going to sell me Majestic Princess. They aren’t going give me the option. They’re going to sell me Spirit or Luminosa.
  11. They can compete. They choose not to. They could send a ship up to Alaska that competes with the Jewel. They could send a better ship to Seattle to compete with Bliss. They could send a ship to San Juan to compete with Viva next year and Bliss in 2026. They choose not to. They do fewer seasonal deployments and focus on the Caribbean year round. That also leads to less variety because they rarely move their ships around where other lines are moving them every year.
  12. I never did it because I was waiting for them to put something bigger than fantasy class there. But I am doing it in 2026 on Norwegian Epic. It’s really odd. They have more ships than anyone else so they could easily afford to do these other routes but they don’t. It seems like the strategy is to get more ships in more ports than anyone else and all go the same places.
  13. It’s in my Jubliee and Spirit live threads from last month but this alert started coming up on jubilee so I selected a group. The groups are by estimated debarkation time. Since I’m platinum I always get priority tags but the thing kept popping up so I did it. My tags were automatically delivered to the room. Then I also go my platinum tags with a lower number. Next time on Spirit I ignored these messages and only got one set of tags. My platinum tags. So If you are platinum or diamond just ignore it. You’ll still get your priority tags. If you aren’t…just make a selection in the app and your tags will be delivered to the room.
  14. I think it goes along what I was saying about carnival catering to the beginner cruiser. I don’t think they want regular cruises out of a place that isn’t drivable.
  15. That’s right. The 6-7 days I saw must’ve been POA that don’t leave Hawaii. The others are 13-16 days.
  16. I’m going to be updating my New Orleans Parking page in the next week which includes park n cruise hotels so I may have a better answer for you then. Without digging any deeper It looks like these are some from my current list that still have packages. Some limit you to 7 or 8 days of parking so not all of them will work for a b2b. My personal preference is either staying at one of the hotels around Fulton and parking at Fulton or staying out of town and driving in to Fulton. I don’t know where you are coming from but I come from the west so south Baton Rouge works good for me. If I were coming from the north probably Covington…and I’d be making a trip to the Abita brewery/tasting room. https://www.bestwesternwestbank.com/packages https://www.ihg.com/holidayinn/hotels/us/en/new-orleans/msywb/hoteldetail/hotel-offers https://www.maisonstcharles.com/special-offers/ https://www.wyndhamfrenchquarter.com/special-offers
  17. You can check here. The most recent one I have right now is from a month ago. https://www.saintgregtravel.com/fun-times/
  18. NCL has has Breakaway+ class ships doing the Seattle-Alaska cruises Carnival does and Princess has Royal class ships doing them. Carnival definitely has a different strategy. NCL and Princess almost totally abandon the Caribbean during the summer while Carnival stays there year round. Carnival only does the round trip Seattle Alaska cruises where other lines do those and Alaska-Canada cruises. I've noticed the same thing with Hawaii. Other lines have one week cruises between Honolulu and Vancouver. Carnival only does cruises that start and end in the US. They definitely cater to the beginner cruiser who doesn’t have a passport and mostly just wants to go to the Caribbean.
  19. I haven't done either. But I am doing the Horizon ABC soon and I have seen the Hawaii prices.
  20. The newer ships can't go everywhere. If I had to guess what the "best" itinerary was...based on the pricing and comments I've seen/heard over the years on an 8-day cruise I would say the ABC that Horizon and I think Magic do. For Journeys I would say Hawaii which I think Miracle and Radiance do.
  21. That's all I'm asking. Anytime the ship isn't at full capacity you think the Stewards are getting cheated.
  22. I haven't done any organized tours. I know Garden District and Cemetery tours are popular during the day. Ghost tours at night. I covered a lot of the Garden District here if you want to check it out. https://www.saintgregtravel.com/new-orleans-garden-district/ I have seen free tours by foot recommended a lot. You may want to check out their tours. The guides just work for tips. https://freetoursbyfoot.com/new-orleans-tours/
