I had a dream where I was cruising in a sea of flaming tomato soup. -
Look what I found at the buffet this morning!

I love the way the tongs are laying in the bacon. That way you can get a taste of your fellow passengers along with the bacon. -

You can keep your low number and even if you ignore when they call you….your bag will be there when you get off. Even if it’s the last one.

I'm just going through working on my blog and I came across this question that I don't think I saw or answered live. It was about Summit One Vanderbilt. The views from Summit are very similar to Top of the Rock. So if you're looking at doing a couple of observatories I would only do one of those two. Summit is better if you're looking to do a lot of selfies. You get a lot of unique pictures with the mirrored room and the glass room above the mirrored room and the room with the mirrored balls and the area where you can step out onto the glass floor. Then the outside deck. Then the glass elevator on the side of the building for the $20 upcharge.

I also saw they are closing BeetleJuice in January. That reminds me of a story I didn't tell in my live. After Phantom of the Opera I was in the elevator going up to the rooftop bar. I had my cup and playbill with me. There was a couple in the elevator. The girl says "we also went to beetlejuice. wasn't it great?" I said "what?" she points at my cup. "You went to bettlejuice, right?" I just kind of turned my nose up. "Nooo. I went to phantom of the opera."

Park & Cruise in Metairie or New Orleans
Saint Greg replied to Raman50's topic in Gulf Coast Departures
I don’t know if they have it anymore but precovid I did one at Country inn & Suites. Read about it here Read about more park n cruise hotel options here -
positives or negatives about NOLA hotels.
Saint Greg replied to hoosier sailor's topic in Gulf Coast Departures
Are you coming from the west? If I’m coming from the west and staying outside of New Orleans I’ll just stay in South Baton Rouge. A little bit further of a drive but more hotels, food, shopping, and entertainment in the area. -
Carnival Glory - New Orleans Parking Question
Saint Greg replied to dandeck's topic in Gulf Coast Departures
I have done Fulton all 9 times. It saves money and is usually good but they were short a shuttle on debarkation day in March and it was a long wait. Machu Piccu has really good reviews. Smaller lot. A little more expensive than Fulton. But more personalized service. I cover all of the options here: https://www.saintgregtravel.com/new-orleans-parking/ -
I know there’s a chance for people from multiple cruise lines coming across this so for those of you who don’t know me…I have been on 19 Carnival cruises. 9 of them out of New Orleans. I’ve also been attending Saints games in New Orleans for 30 years. I’m a 17th year season ticket holder. I wanted a place to put pictures of the hotels, food, and drink from my half dozen or so New Orleans trips this fall/winter. And maybe future years as well. This is the place. Content starts tomorrow.
