  1. In 2011 we were in Waikiki and returning from an early morning walk ran into an ex co worker who was staying in the same hotel. We are from Vancouver. hadn’t seen him in about 5 years.
  2. Checked ours and it’s over $3000 more than what we booked for.
  3. I didn't seek medical attention so nothing to claim. Here in Canada our medical is all covered by our health care system.
  4. I know this isn’t Celebrity cruise related but wanted to share as our next big vacation will be on a Celebrity cruise. i have shared on the travel insurance page as well. Hi everyone. Just wanted to share an experience, not cruising, but from our recent all inclusive vacation in Mexico Mid way through the week, I injured my foot. Wasn’t looking where I was going and tripped. As it was able to walk on it I thought it was just a bad bruise or maybe a crack. So decided to just take it easy for the rest of the week and lounge around the pool and have it looked at when I get home. So when we got home yesterday I drove myself to the hospital with no issues (it’s my right foot) thinking I’m wasting their time as it is likely bad bruising. Only to find out I broke the 5th metatarsal (bigger bone on the baby toe side). Had to call my hubby come down and get me and the car as I shouldn’t be driving. Now have an air cast and an appointment with the orthopaedic surgeon on Monday at the cast clinic. I have an air cast for now, but may need surgery as I waited to have it looked at. We have travel medical insurance and I should have used it, may have prevented the possible need for surgery as I walked on my foot for four days. While I didn’t walk around much, may have done more damage. So so my point is, have travel medical and use it if you need to!

  6. We had already booked a non refundable so it was and easy choice for me. We originally booked with one perk (drink package) and prepaid gratuities. Then there was a price drop, got about $150 off the cruise fair and $100 on board credit in the Edge promotion With this new one, already being non refundable, took the 3 perks - Bev Pkg, Wifi, and $300 on board credit. Also got $80 off the cruise fare. The onboard credit will cover the gratuities that we had prepaid and we've gained an expensive Wifi package We did lose the $100 Edge promo onboard credit but we gained about $500 CDN in the wifi package Overall we saved about $480 CDN
  7. We booked a 1A for the price of a 1B on our Reflection cruise in Jan 2020
  8. If only we could stay on forever ❤️ Sent from my iPad using Forums

  10. We are doing an all inclusive in January 2019. We’ve never done one before. Been on a bunch of cruises but never an all inclusive. As for the rest of 2018 we have a trip planned to visit family in Saskatchewan. Having the cruise [emoji568] to plan gives me something to look forward to [emoji2] Sent from my iPad using Forums
  11. We went on our last cruise in November 2017, I was going nuts not having another booked! Booked the Reflection yesterday for Jan 2020! Even though it's a long way out I feel better now :D
  12. I would stock some cheese and crackers from the buffet and keep in your room Sent from my iPad using Forums
  13. Make sure you have binoculars. We had an aft wrap on our Alaska cruise and watched a huge pod of grey whales for a long time before they were out of sight on the way to Juneau. It was also great at the glacier Sent from my iPad using Forums
  14. We are sailing the same itinerary November 12th. Following [emoji2] Sent from my iPad using Forums
  15. On another site that they don't like us to mention, people have been saying they are having trouble booking a room the night before our November 12, 2017 sailing. I've looked online and can't find anything about a festival or other event. Does anyone know what is going on that weekend? thanks Karen
