Nicely highlights the pickleball noise, too.🤣 And was that paella?? Is a new Spamish restaurant coming to Xcel?

On Silhouette, you must do Murano and order the Chateaubriand for Two and Murano Lobster prepared tableside. Don't forget the soufflé for dessert!🤤 The Porch and/or Lawn Club Grill for lunch. On Beyond, you must do Eden at a window table before dark. The aft view is absolutely mesmerizing. If Jesse James is on board, ask for him. He not only has a flair for serving. He is a magical photographer.

Well your excursion’s description does include the words “having an unforgettable guided experience.” I guess you got that to some degree. However, if the history component was not there maybe you should consider asking for a partial refund? Apparently your fellow excursion participants that abandoned the tour were not totally off base. We love Key West port stops and will wander on our own next time around. Next time around you should consider a climb to the top of the lighthouse. We love lighthouses. What day is your birthday? What better way to celebrate than a cruise? We have cruises booked for my next two birthdays. Yay!

Agree. My first experience on an Edge-class vessel earlier this year left me severely over-stimulated.🤣 Looking forward to a more chillaxed vibe on my 2025 Reflection and Summit sailings. Hope you find your groove. Maybe go back to your sunset veranda and listen to the wake.☺️ -
What does the final page with the taxes and total look like if you click on “Confirm and Continue” on the Cruise-Only option for the Magic Carpet Sky Suite? Maybe then it will show that drink and WiFi are included? Sounding more and more to me like a big ole GLITCH.

This is what I get for 2 people. No choice for Cruise-Only. Maybe you experienced a glitch on Celebrity’s website?
-
Which sailing? I will check USA website. Never saw this pricing option for The Retreat before.

Jeannette, Your commentary stirs memories of our recent cruise on Beyond. Isn’t the SV lovely? You’ll definitely get a few steps in. Our 11:00am-ish embarkation was also a breeze, but by the time we dropped our bags at the stateroom and headed for the Oceanview Cafe for lunch absolute chaos had already ensued. We dealt with it since we already had plans to reunite with friends at lunch there. Our Behind the Scenes tour was moved up a day unbeknown to us until we found the notification letter inside the excursion tickets envelope in our stateroom. The same sad reason was given. At least they offered you the 25% discount on another selection. But I like the idea @hcat just suggested about the art book even better.😜 -
Silhouette and Reflection only.

We thought it was lovely. You can have as much as you want, but a couple items require an upcharge. I posted pics of the menu in this thread….

Port of Miami Retreat Lounge Question
Stem to Stern replied to ScottC4746's topic in Celebrity Cruises
As mentioned above, you would likely be standing outside waiting to get in the building until about 10:00am. And once you are checked in and seated in The Retreat waiting area, there is no proper place to enjoy the above pictured snack items. The only seating consists of rows of airport-type chairs and no tables. -
Today I asked my TA for the third reprice on my 2026 AK Cruisetour since this whole Black Friday Bonus malarkey started. I felt bad for asking about the first $100. Even worse for the next $50 and today’s $31, but $181 is $181.

Let us know how this plays out. Hopefully congrats are in order for both.😎

Port of Miami Retreat Lounge Question

December 2023 ~ Summit Pastry, fruit, cookies, and soft drinks…. But there was barely time enough to enjoy any of it before it was time to board. You will be on board and having lunch by noon. Personally, I would not waste my money on breakfast at the hotel. -
The Decline of Celebrity as a Premium Cruise Line
Stem to Stern replied to Definitas's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I have no idea. Long story short we are all in with hotel and air for less than $270 per person per night. You can look directly on their website for pricing if you are curious. The only research we did was the following info provided by our friends. We paid much less than we would have without the heavy discount. I am doing some copy/paste here, so hopefully this is all readable and helpful to you. We did a quick search for rooms at Sun Palace (Adults Only) in April. The daily rates were the same for any day in April. Taking 1 week as the starting point, the weekly rates for us (Palace Elite) using one of our preferential rate weeks would be: Superior Deluxe Ocean View (437 sq ft, floors 7 & 😎 = $3,378 (non-refundable) or $3,556 (refundable until 4 days before) Superior Junior Suite Ocean View (570 sq ft, floor 1-4) = $3,688 (non-refundable) or $3,882 (refundable until 4 days before) The rates we found if booking directly before the Black Friday savings were: Superior Deluxe Ocean View = $4,424 (non-refundable) or $4,655(refundable) Superior Junior Suite Ocean View = $5,537 (non-refundable) or $5,817 (refundable)amenities: 1 King bed. Double Whirlpool Tub. Private bath w/ shower. Balcony with chairs & table. Welcome bottle of wine. Breakfast table with two chairs. Liquor dispenser contains premium, upgraded brands of liquor: White Rum, Tequila, J&B Whisky and Vodka. Subject to change at any time. Daily refreshed Mini Bar contains sodas, bottled water, juices, domestic & imported beers. Coffee Maker. CHI Bath Amenities. Bathrobes & Slippers. CHI Branded Professional Hair Dryer and Straightener. Iron/ironing board. Digital safe (laptop size). Individually-controlled A/C. Direct Dial telephone. Smart TV with Youtube, vTuner and Weather Channel. Alarm Clock. 24-Hour room service & Turndown service. Wireless Internet. Ocean View. Max Occupancy: 2 (couple). Non smoking room. -

The Decline of Celebrity as a Premium Cruise Line
Stem to Stern replied to Definitas's topic in Celebrity Cruises
We did end up booking Sun Palace for a week in April during their Black Friday promotion along with our friends’ Elite savings. They have been there several times. It will be fun to join them and revisit the all-inclusive resort concept with DH who has never done one. It should be a relaxing week at this smaller property. We will see how it goes before we consider the idea for future vacation options. Enjoy Excellence!☀️ -
FYI Omakase (Japanese) dinner on Millennium January 2025
Stem to Stern replied to DePaul94's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Omakase is offered in the app on 4 of my 6 upcoming sailings. It seems it will only be offered once per sailing. Says it will be offered with very limited seating. Mine are only bookable on one evening at 6:45pm usually falling on Day 2, 3, or 4. $115.99 per seat ($129 less 10% pre-cruise savings) My Solstice-class bookings also offer the Murano Tasting. No Omakase offered on the 2026 Mardi Gras cruise, but that one lists the Taj X Dinner without a button to book it. According to the From the Bridge email, it starts in December on select sailings.
