Cruising out of Singapore/Asia experiences?
little britain replied to Thoenix's topic in Royal Caribbean International
@Thoenix I did a life blog in February which you may find useful https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2991081-a-cruise-from-singapore-🇸🇬/ -
0800 240 4261 And it’s freephone! The dedicated Pinnacle number 01932 835999 doesn’t work any more 🙄🤷♀️

Any sign of a cruise to the solar eclipse?
little britain replied to cruisestitch's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Questions about the timings in this one…eclipse passes directly over La Coruña - she is at sea on eclipse day which ends at 8.30p and then somehow she has to be docked 380nm away in Lisbon by 7am the following morning!!! Impossible. Unless she already has sailed out of the direct path of the eclipse which kinda defeats the whole object…. -

It’s a long drydock period and misses out on cashing in on the lucrative UK half term itineraries. -

Boring itineraries, like busses 🚌 all following each other into Barcelona ! -

Understatement of the Day! -
Exactly. My point is why post a map with several interesting unique destinations picked out … and then under closer investigation they don’t actually go there in 2026? This flyer is meant to be the Big Announcement 📣 of their new season itineraries after all. Only just not all those places in the map!
-
Thought this was meant to be about new ‘26 itineraries? I have found Bar now but not Napflio.
-
So places on the map which tempt and tease are not ports.. Bar, Brindisi, Volos?
-
@cruisingaussies we also dislike E class. Went on Apex twice and said never again! Not a comfy chair in the whole ship, disjointed design, not enough bars, the Martini bar overpowers every other venue, bland colours… everything with the same vibe, no personality… you are not alone!! They now send Apex as the only ship in Southampton. 🤦♀️

@xpcdoojk my wine of choice on board is currently the Hampton Water rosé. Delicious. And it has a cork! So I let the bar staff open it. I happened to buy a bottle once on my first visit to a Buckees.

My friend is doing 3n on Indie purely to get her D+ - however it’s turned into an Eurovision 🪩 cruise so every cloud!!! lol! For every pain there is a gain! 💃 -
I haven’t bought a wine with a cork in for years. Problem solved.

Why not? I did then. Not now. -
A few years ago around 2021, the UK quietly introduced the rule that if you selected MTD then you had to prepay the gratuities. This was done with no official announcement and the booking system was updated to enforce this. Now it appears that this rule has been reversed and you no longer have to prepay gratuities for MTD when booking via the UK. FYI.
