  1. In case anyone was wondering, I ended up receiving my refund on January 12th (according to the posting date) but it was updated on January 15th on my account for Chase. Much, much better turnaround time than last year. We have a 7-day Alaskan cruise scheduled for Labor Day 2021 which we are hopeful for, but a more realistic option is probably late 2021 (like... December) Caribbean.
  2. Just checking if anyone who was booked for a cruise 7+ days in 2021 that was subsequently cancelled - have you received your refund yet? I don't want to give Princess more money while I'm waiting for a refund but I haven't seen anyone on the boards mention if they have/have not received the refund.
  3. We have (tentatively) a cruise scheduled for next July through Princess Casinos. Has anyone added a Cruisetour to a comped cruise? I know we'd have to pay OOP for it but I was curious if it can be done and how much
  4. If the test is negative, you walk on. If you test positive, your cruise gets cancelled and you get reimbursed.
  5. Hi all - we're starting to schedule our vacations for next year in hopes that cruising returns. Our last cruise was on the Grand Princess to Alaska. Typically we are balcony people but for this cruise, we decided to do L308 - which was a oceanview with floor to ceiling windows. We loved the location - literally a few feet from the viewing deck and Slice/Salty Dog and if we saw anything interesting out the window, we could easily and quickly go out and see it outside. We have two cruises scheduled for next year - Alaska on the Ruby and Canada/New England on the Caribbean. We're comped
  6. So - when everyone received the April offers, I didn't receive anything because I already had two Princess Casino cruises booked - one for July 20 2020 and one for November 2020. After having the July one cancelled and cancelling the November 2020 one, I received an offer for a free balcony, $1000 in free play and Princess Plus amenities. So it might be more that they only want people to have one good offer cruise booked.
  7. Sail Date: July 27th(?) 2020, Received refunds for all of the "extras" we cancelled in mid-March (gratuities, purchased OBC, coffee cards, water) yesterday, predated for June 25th. Still waiting for cruise fare and airfare. But at least I got my $7.08 back for water.
  8. Here's the official list of affected cruises https://www.princess.com/plan/impacted-and-cancelled-cruises/?cid=pr_social_socialorganic_TWITTER_engagement_brand_na_na_na&linkId=88077913

  10. You should see $100 OBC for that deposit.
  11. P&O just cancelled through July 31 as of this morning
  12. Hello all - we're scheduled (as of now, I know it's probably not going to happen, but...) for a July 25th cruise out of Southampton to Norway. We have Princess EZAir and, way back in November, we decided to do the early ticketing because it made me nervous that I couldn't pick my seat. We've had our flights changed by American Airlines a couple times since and now I saw they have no change fees for flights until September. Assuming that we're still going, can I change my flight online and not pay change fees? It still says "Change fees: $710.36" but if I look at the pricing breakdown,
  13. Looks like the announcement was only to cancel Carnival through May 11. Princess is already there so I'm assuming nothing changed.
  14. So - our situation is this. 1) We are booked on a Norway Fjords 8-day cruise in July through an offer for a free oceanview room from Princess Casinos 2) We bumped up to a balcony and paid the upgrade fee 3) We have Princess EZAir but paid for early ticketing so we could pick seats If we were to cancel (we also have the Platinum insurance) does anyone know how that would settle? The ports/fees would be a direct refund. I think the $100 deposit would be credit. What would happen w/ EZAir/the balcony upgrade/the price of the insurance?
