    Cruise lines were the hardest hit travel industry during covid. They didn't get bailouts or PPP loans. They were left to rot. Yet they survived.

    Noting that the porters are salaried, unioned and make good money, $1 per bag is more than adequate.

    I lost a bucket list Panama Canal cruise due to schedule changes. So swapping St Thomas for San Juan doesn't really register on my scale of cruise frustration.

    You already agreed via your cruise contract that you acknowledge they can change itineraries. So the timing is mere coincidence.

    The current RC to TA transfer process is a simple form and about a 24 hour turnaround. I did one just this week. I've never done a TA to TA transfer, so it wouldn't surprise me if that's more complicated.

    There's a simple form to fill out to transfer from RC to a TA. I don't know if that's the same form to use to go from TA to TA.

    Yes, you should be able to switch an assigned GTY room within the same category

    I guess we read into that that longer cruises are seeing a high level of bail outs?

    You really shouldn't be storing anything in the hallway, though scooters obviously get a pass.

    American Airlines paused all flights to Israel until December 4. That should be a clue of how long (at a minimum) cruising will be paused there.

    Travel insurance doesn't tend to cover war-related issues, either.

    With its isolation from the real Haiti, it might as well be a different country.
