Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I'm not sure where you found the ships in port on the day the original poster is going to be in Santorini - we are also booked on the same cruise and found only 3 ships total - 1 small, 1 small/medium, 1 medium/large and no mega ships. Looks to be less than 8000 people from all 3 ships.
  2. we are thinking of booking this exact cruise - sailing will be us (mid 40's), daughter (17) and son (15)
  3. Any idea on either the Lavender Martini or Lavender daiquiri? even better if you have the mocktail of either, they are my sons favourite and we are trying to copy it
  4. Any idea who will be on Allure after the Presidents cruise? Looks like Steve is on the Jewel from July-November and Mike will be Allure for 2 weeks then back to Icon.
  5. We booked an Aug 2023 cruise yesterday. Trying to get into the cruise planner to take advanttage of the memorial day sales. We can see the deals, but the reserve botton is blacked out and can not click it. Called the 1800 number and they can not do anything either. The sale ends tonight. This also happened to us with the Black Friday sales in Nov 2022. Getting really tired of the CRAPPY Customer Service with RCCL. Anyone else having issues?
  6. Thanks... thought so... but kept seeing posts on CC saying ships can be delayed and no other info.
  7. We are booked on the Allure in Aug of 23. We are looking at a 12:55 departure out of IAH. Will this be an issue? We are trying to book a private ride for 4. I have heard people talk about fog can cause delays getting into port. This is not in Aug. is it?
  8. we are finally home. Flight was slightly delayed (45min) and arrived in Toronto just before 4. We were out of the parking garage by 4:40 and home in London (with a quick dinner stop) at 7pm. Back to work tomorrow - ugh
  9. Ok. Let's get going!!!!!!!!! We hope everyone has a great trip. First time in a central park balcony and I'm undecided still
  10. did you end up taking the transfer? we are going on the Indy next week, then the Mariner (I believe T5 and T1), if you did transfer, did they shuttle back to the original terminal for parking? we are thinking of parking at the first terminal, debark and drive and park at the second terminal.
  11. Does anyone know who the current Diamond Lounge host is on the Mariner? How long do they stay on the ship - we are sailing early January
  12. We were on this cruise with Mario, he spoke at the Crown & Anchor top tier event. What impressed me the most is that the large cake they had put out to celebrate the 10,000 points, he asked for it to be taken to the crew mess for them to enjoy, said that passengers have ample choices of desserts and that the crew are the ones that should get to enjoy it. My son spoke with him after watching the cabin tv interview with Mario and Elvis (cruise director) and he was very kind to him.
  13. Can you imagine the looks we would get if in fact we DID hang a clothesline across CP!!!! I'm not sure how to get it from one side to the other - you bringing a drone? I will have to remember to close the curtains when getting ready - not something I need to think about with an oceanview or ocean balcony!
