  1. A travel router is probably a better idea but another option to get multi connections to the internet might be to use your cellular device to connect to the cellular at sea service. Although expensive I think Regent does supply a cell signal while at sea. ATT offers a plan for cruisers and your carrier probably does too. I have no idea how good the cellular at sea service is. My only experience is using it as a reminder to go into Airplane mode.
  2. Thanks @GOARMY I have one quick clarifying question. Was the original 1-stop itinerary a first response to a deviation request, or Regent’s standard non-deviation flight? I have never waited to see what Regent would provide, always either deviating for international or booking my own domestic flights. I am interested in learning other people’s experiences with standard Regent air. The air travel industry has been so chaotic lately that making air arrangements 210 says in advance just seems to provide more time for the airlines to change the itinerary on their own.
  3. @GOARMY, how long in advance of your embarkation date did you receive the original one-stop itinerary and request the change to nonstop?
  4. It seems to work. They put their book on the lounger and leave!
  5. When we use Regent air and book United we always get our MileagePlus miles for the flights. I can’t comment on results with other airlines.
  6. I have only been on Voyager one time, in a Penthouse. I thought the shower was pretty tiny. A shower chair might fit but I’m not sure a chair and a person would.
  7. In Concierge you are also paying for a precruise hotel room and additional WiFi logins, and some other minor perks.
  8. I think only on Grandeur on the back deck.
  9. Thanks @ridethetide. Those look like they should do the trick for me. I think I will be able to find these at a local store and try them on to confirm.
  10. I’m curious about the excursion boots. I suffer from “foot drop” and normally wear braces to help avoid tripping over my toes. I find that my work boots provide enough support for short walks though. The website says they provide knee-high boots for excursions. Did they fit well and were they supportive at the ankles? I would love to see a photo if you have any.
  11. We’re staying at the Marshall House. It appears to share a wall with 45 Bistro! I just checked the Marshall House website. The breakfast room is 45 Bistro so I guess pretty convenient for us for dinner too. We are planning on the Hop On/Off bus and maybe a river cruise. The Crystal Beer Parlor menu looks yummy. We’ll see how close the bus will get us to it.
  12. Were the outlets accessible on both sides?
  13. @Gpilon and @Zqueeze1, we’re going east for a week at the end of this month, splitting our time between Savannah and Charleston. Do you guys have any suggestions for Must-Do activities? We’ve never been to either city. Also we would be thankful for some suggestions for a nice dinner, or lunch for that matter, while we’re there.
  14. Has anybody been able to connect their Bluetooth headphones to the suite TV?
  15. We’re boarding Explorer June 12. Lorraine was the CD on our first three cruises. I’m guessing June 12 is too early but I can always hope.
  16. Regent doesn’t actually pay for the air until a couple of months before departure. Have you asked your TA about canceling the return flights and taking a credit? After final payment the credit might have to be an OBC but at least it would open the door for you to book a better flight home. If it’s important enough you could probably just abandon the Regent flight and book your own.
  17. You might want to have Ruth check you for symptoms of a stroke. 😉
  18. If you’re booked by Regent as part of the cruise breakfast is included, along with transfer to the ship. If you booked it yourself you’re on your own.
  19. We stayed at the Intercontinental last May. After reading a few reviews of the Divani Caravelle we decided to take the credit and book our own room. The club lounge is very nice. Taxis in Athens are not expensive and the ride to the port was only around twenty minutes.
  20. I suspect that Regent suspects that most passengers, best intentions notwithstanding, will not log on from home and fill out the survey. I know That I resemble that remark. When I get home I am busy going through my mail, making sure any non-autopay bills get paid, checking the garden, doing laundry, thinking about our next cruise, etc, etc. Onboard the list of distractions is much shorter. I’m sure that most of my fellow passengers are much better organized and more focused than I but for at least some of us being required to do the survey onboard increases the likelihood that we actually fill it out.
  21. In previous year Free Medical was included. Now it says Free Medical Consultation. I wonder if that’s just different wording or a different perk?
  22. Also the concierge balcony is larger than almost all of the F balconies.
