At the risk of getting this thread locked, I would quit Royal if they went smoke free.

Even his app is expecting a double entendre.

You'll eventually get all of the Jeopardy! questions correct. In Spanish.

Iputu is a common Balinese name for the first born son. There are many crewmembers named Iputu on RC.
I guess you never forget your first Iputu.

Ask him. If so he was in the Baltic all summer.
When visiting our friends in Vancouver BC I told them I was taking a picture of their pool and will tell my friends their igloo melted into their basement.

Mac, look who I found. She sends her greetings to your family. Turns out Ipitu is her helper, and we said with him in January.
Surely it's not the same Iputu who was on Serenade in April?

That basket of potato chips would look more at home in your suite.

I hope Andrew realizes that sun dried tomatoes are just red raisins 😉

I'm with Baowen. If we sailed insides instead of balcony cabins I wouldn't care which cave they gave me, including the most forward. But paying a premium price for a substandard (to me) cabin isn't tolerable.
My only GTY experience was before Royal Up, and I saved $1000 on a Navigator balcony. They assigned a cabin directly beneath the Windjammer about 120 days from sailing. There were plenty more to choose from and I requested and received a much better location.

It's 80 miles inland. It would take more than 5 hours to reach international waters, at such point Royal could open the Casino and not follow California liquor laws.
Never going to happen.

I still don't know why the change in Port Director upset the cruise lines. Anyone have any real information?

The second best Diamond perk is the Diamond Concierge. The concierge can keep you from standing in line at guest services for most issues that come up.
There is continental breakfast in the DL every morning and the DL is a nice quiet place to hang out during the day.

Thanks Bob! 😉

I can attest to the deliciousness of the Sabor margarita. I wonder if they serve them to go.

My last three bookings were based on itinerary. The one prior to those three was based on ship first (wanted to try Voyager Class) and then itinerary. The rest were itinerary based.

Trikes Aruba is the best!
In Curacao we enjoyed just walking around. We checked out the Maritime museum as well as the floating market, then ducked into a local eatery for lunch.
Woodwind in Bonaire was a great tour.

The last Diamond Concierge I had on Serenade told me her story about the Oasis crane accident. That was really something.

All Diamond lounges have a machine. "Specialty" coffee is part of the benefits package. As you can read above, its functionality is variable.

Our Boardwalk balcony on 14 was fine. The noise from the carousel directly below drowned out any potential noise from above 🙂

She didn't look at our pics. I asked her to take new ones. In the uploads I was standing atop the pyramid at Lamanai in Belize and my wife was standing in front of Duck Donuts in Duck, NC.
What is/was your line in the sand?

I wouldn't sail to any cold weather ports. I do enjoy blackjack while drinking and smoking, but not enough to quit sailing in warm seas if it were banned. The casino wouldn't miss my small losses.
