  1. Well it looks like it's there after all. My apologies...and I'm happy you'll get your fix 🙂
  2. Huh..well what do you know? Thanks for posting.
  3. Yes, and I sincerely hope you are able to get this resolved. A few years ago my DH picked up the wrong bag at the Delta terminal baggage claim. He got it all the way home and started to unpack when he realized that he had someone else's dirty dungarees. That also meant that Delta likely had his bag waiting at the terminal. Now he had to go to the trouble of getting his bag from Delta as well as returning the wrong bag to the rightful owner. Both were absolute PITA situations and Delta customer service was of little help. We were disappointed in their attitude toward the customer. Sometimes I think that a company can get so big that it looses sight of the individual. My point is, it's not just MSC.
  4. LOL...I'm gathering English wasn't first language but regardless, I found it to be a little melodramatic. But who am I to judge? Regarding your morning read, you can always hope for a good internet connection to get your fix. That's what I did when I found nothing appealing on the list.
  5. As frustrating as this situation sounds, and my comment is going to be, it really sounds like the responsibility lies with you on both counts. In my experience, once you leave the ship all bets are off. If you had questions about your folio those are best handled in a face-to-face format. You step off the ship and 5K new passengers enter...you are history to them. Keep a close eye on your cc statement and if you find something that looks fishy then I suppose you might be able to address it through your cc company. I hate that about your luggage but as stated by @HipHipOnAShip it's likely gone for good. The luggage and everything at the pier is generally handled by a private company. Other than putting you in touch with them, there's not really much MSC can do. Perhaps insurance will cover the loss? Best of luck...I know it's frustrating.
  6. It wasn't on the list when we were on Seashore last month.
  7. Yes, please post a review! Would love to read about your experience.
  8. Yes! This was our experience as well. I’m not gonna lie, I’m glad I wore flats. 🤪
  9. I think it’s natural for people to offer up counterpoints to those who make posts. Happens to me all the time and honestly, I’ve learned a lot because of it. I wouldn’t take any of it too personally. We are all here for the same reason… a love of cruising. Let it roll off. I hope you come back. 😊
  10. Very interesting. Wish I could get away with that...lol. ☺️
  11. Ahh...thank you. I understand. And yes, MSC has quite the corporate reputation for exactly what you describe.
  12. Kinda curious about this comment...do the Italians have a reputation for bad service like the French do for being rude? I've known many French people and they weren't rude and had nothing but great service when we visited Italy.
  13. My understanding is that the initial coast guard inspection is done in the port of re-entry. If there is one in MIA, it will likely not be as extensive or take as long.
  14. When we were on Seashore last month they made announcements calling people by decks to report to their muster station to have their card scanned. Once the card was scanned, we were free to go. We also watched a video and had to dial a number with a code after we completed the video. We didn't find the muster process a cluster at all.
  15. Huh...well maybe he's not expecting a tip...he certainly wouldn't be earning one with that attitude were I currently on board. Please keep us posted.
  16. Us too. I was so impressed with MSC after being on Seashore that we immediately booked a 4 night encore on Meraviglia for November. So far, the ship/cruise isn't getting much love.
  17. Why no sparkling wine? Did you inquire? Here's hoping things improve...
  18. Don't knock until you try it. There's lots of wonderful things about MSC...we just hear more about the bad than the good.
  19. oops...I hope you don't either. 😁 We are booked next month and I know through out the month of November, it's a bunch of 3 and 4 night itineraries.
  20. Another vote for Murano here. It has a very nice upscale feel and we always get just a little more dressed up when we dine there (not that it’s required). BTW there is another specialty option called le Petit chef. I’ve never done it but many people who have say it’s a one and done for them.
  21. Is your cruise going to be the first after an overseas repositioning? If so, I encourage you the follow suggested boarding times for this one. If not, then I wouldn’t worry too much.
  22. Following along! One day I’m going to take a 12 night cruise. The most I’ve been able to do at one time is 9 nights. Looking forward to reading about your vacation!
  23. Yeah I don’t think it was too difficult to figure out.
