Helloooooooo Pros!
Question: We are cruising Sunday. Debating cancelling Chops. Is there a cut off to cancel to get a refund to our bank account vs. cancelling to get a credit on board? I thought I remember reading somewhere that at a certain point cancellation would become onboard credits? Or did I imagine this (completely possible).
Thank you so much! Yes totally helps, so in everyone's opinion, would it be safe to cancel our current excurionS we have booked for Labadee and allow the refund to process so we can book something else?
WAIT!? I was just about to say out of all these mid-late April notifications I didn't see any update about the Explorer of the Seas sailing leaving 3/31. My cruise planner still shows Labadee, and I have no emails from RC yet? Is this real? Grand Cayman?
I'm curious about this too! Wouldn't they be making arrangements asap and who do they have to notify of an change? I recall listening to a podcast that one of the major cruise lines had to do all kinds of repositioning notifications just to change course to avoid a possible collision with a falling satellite.
If this was the case, what kind of claim could you submit? (I'm sure its dependent on the policy...but curious if this has happened to someone else what they received? Partial refund?)
You don't know these people situation, it is bologna that RC holds funds that long, or at min should consider allowing those impacted to have the option to rebook prior to cancelling at the alternative location/choose onboard credit.
