I wonder where I get the specialty coffees and teas, besides the dining room, on the Mariner of the Seas?? Does anyone know?
-
Yes it is the black Friday deals. Mine has dropped from $20 to $17!
-
It actually says please arrive no less than 2 hours prior to your scheduled boarding time.

When I checked in online the other day I was allowed to pick a time slot as to when I can arrive at the port. Of course I picked the earliest which was 11 am. Now it states that I am to arrive "no less than 2 hours" before that time. Is this true? I need to arrive, at the latest, 9am? I'm not complaining I just thought it strange that they want me there so early when the other guests aren't off the ship yet. This is my first RCI cruise. Thank you for all of your input!

I just dealt with almost this exact scenario except I booked thru RCI. I had originally purchased 2 deluxe drink packages online but the price lowered by $11 pp pd. So I decided to call and see if I could just purchase one drink package and one refreshment package as I don't drink but maybe one or two drinks the whole cruise. They were more than happy to do this and there was no issues.

I am on the 3 night sailing in February and it just went down to $52 pp pd plus gratuity for the deluxe drink package. This is the lowest I've seen so far.

Somebody else doing the dishes, somebody else cleaning, the sound of the ocean from the balcony, breakfast from my balcony while gazing at the ocean....Its those little things I miss.

So, do you have to have your set sail pass along with your cup or can you just have your cup and go to the freestyle machine?

Ok , so the non-alcoholic drinks are what exactly? Can you order any virgin cocktail? Is it a smoothie? Not sure exactly what they mean here. Thank you for taking the time.

Does anyone have a copy of the refreshment package drinks that are available? I was able to get the refreshment package while my DH got the deluxe drink package and I would really like to know what is allowed. Thank you in advance.

My February 2019 cruise has been $63 a day until last night when it went down to $52 a day.

That seems high. Is that the on board price or is it 20% off of the on board price? Short cruises tend to encourage more alcohol based drinks so maybe the price is based on past consumption.
Ive never been on a RCI cruise before so im not sure if that is it, if that's what youre saying.
Also, the cruise planner is saying the $63 is with 10% off onboard price. Yikes

The cheapest I'm getting is $63 pp pd for our 3 night cruise in February. I'm seriously wondering if this is worth it. I may have 2 cocktails a day. I just don't know. Hopefully there will be a sale.

Thank you!

This may be a silly question to some but I need clarification...If its a 3 night cruise and the package is $? per day....how many days do they actually charge you?
-
This is a great question and the answers are very helpful! Thank you for asking about this...my favorite part of cruising is the light breakfast with coffee on the balcony too.

Will change to Terminal A when the new Crown Terminal opens I believe in January. I know I read it is before my February cruise.

I'm looking forward to any feedback you may have on this ship as it'll be my first RCI cruise, and also on the Mariner, in February.

The best thing I brought on my family cruise (4 of us in a cabin) was the over the door shoe holder for all of our loose items.
The worst thing I brought on my cruise with just the DH and I was the over the door shoe holder. we just didn't need that with only the 2 of us.

We had a balcony on the upper U186 and I remember it was the best sleep I had ever had. Yes the thrusters may be noticed but that's it. Its quiet and perfect really.
