  1. You can leave it blank. I've done several reservations before and my companions never took photo's at home. At the terminal the staff will take a new photo anyway. The photo I took for myself was never used during the cruise.
  2. The photo is of no importance. At the check-in desk in the terminal the staff will take a photo anyway. This photo will attach to your cruise card ( internally )
  3. Take the old passport with you. It's not a big problem if you don't. You need a VALID passport or ID to show them who you are.

    Toiletries?

MSC Bellisima had Bulgari stuff in the Yacht Club.
  5. Cruiselines have backup plans for these situations. If more people wants to go excursions the line will simple hire more busses for the tour. The online site doesn't update that fast but the staff on the ship will. It's profit for the cruiseline.
  6. The flutes are very nice. They were packed very well with several layers of clothes and put them in my suitcase. It was a risk because we have to take the fight home. I didn't know if they survive the trip. Luckily everything went well and I'm happy about it.
  7. The flutes are made of glass. They were a part of the champagne package.
  8. Diamond members used to get a chocolate ship. I saw them at the chocolate shop and it costs a whopping €18 each ! No wonder MSC switch them for the chcolate bars now.

    YC Butler

Pre-paid gratuities are even less for the YC servies. We paid €70 for the 7-days cruise in advance. That's €10 per day. If there is something wrong about the cabin just contact your butler. He or she will make sure any issues will be solved.
  10. No. They were the regular innercabins. The deluxe suits are much larger. I'm staying right now in the Bellissima suite.
  11. Thank you for the review. We'll be on this ship on January 14th. Also in the Yacht Club. Can't wait to get on board.
  12. I've booked two Yacht Club innercabins on the MSC Bellissima on January 14th. The booking were done directly at the MSC site. Later one of the inner cabin were upgraded to the YC Suite for free and other cabin not. Two weeks ago I mentioned MSC about the differences in the cabins and the next day both cabins were upgraded to YC suites with balcony. No upgrade offerings but just a pleasant surprise.
  13. I know MSC World Europa is one of them but what are the other two MSC ships ? And are there also other cruiseships acting as hotels in Doha ?
  14. Do you have a screenshot of the advertisement ?
  15. During the checking in the pre-boarding I didn't have to register any credit/debet cards. Maybe in the USA the procedure is different.
  16. I've signed up a passenger that wasn't a Voyager Club. It went fine. At the signing page there are two choices. One for having cruised with MSC before and one for the first time with MSC.
  17. There will be a '70 party and two gala evenings. I've also seen a future/robot party with neon lights. I forgot to mention the Italian Night. It's now called Mediterrean Night or Party. There will be parties every nights, themes or not.
  18. That's a pleasant surprise. Enjoy your cruise !
  19. I was also scheduled for Virtuosa in January. MSC had changed the ship to Bellissima. Oh well that is the only ship in the Meraviglia class that I haven't been cruised.
  20. MSC has standard punched keycard since 2020. I've sailed 2020 and 2021 and all cards are punched.
  21. I will be on Presioza in October26th sailing out of Rotterdam. I'm very curious as well.
  22. MSC will mailed you about any update on your cruise. That includes the cabin assigments. You can also check your status on the MSC website. A MSC account is needed and you have to log in.
  23. The formal nights are not strict regulated. A proper suit and dress is enough but if you don't have it you are not turned away from the restaurant.
