Andrew was on Navigator in the Fall of 2022 and on the last part of the World Cruise 2023, both as Assistant Cruise Director.
He does a terrific cabaret act and is a great guy!
We have really enjoyed sailing with him!

We were just on the Cloud in January, 2024. There aren’t any poles to borrow. I brought my own (collapsible, from Eddie Bauer) and my husband rented them through Silversea. We also rented boots.
We loved Karai so much we booked it again for lunch on the day we flew back to Santiago from Puerto Williams!
Our flight back to the U.S. was later that night, and our day room wasn’t ready… perfect way to pass the time! Enjoy!!
We know exactly where that photo was taken! At the W pool!
We were on the Cloud January 15-30 and enjoyed every (well, except for the Drake Passage) minute of the trip!
Can’t wait to follow the rest of your trip!
We just returned Wednesday from the Silversea Cloud expedition trip to South Georgia Island and Antarctica. We love Regent, but this expedition trip was fantastic! It totally exceeded our expectations.
We thought the W was fine! Breakfast(included) was plentiful; we got into our room right away. The neighborhood is nice and there are a large number of restaurants near by. We ate 2 dinners in the hotel, and both were terrific.
We will return to the W on the 30th and have a day room that day. We fly later that night to Miami, arriving the morning of the 31st.
We are currently in Santiago at the W hotel. Arranged by Silversea, we are meeting in the lobby today at 11:30 to leave the hotel at 11:45 to take a bus to our charter flight. That flight leaves at 1 pm for Puerto Williams.
Hope that helps!
Needlepoint kits (free) are available on every ship, every cruise. The Social Hostess usually leads/helps (if needed) the group on sea days. Information will be listed in Passages.
We were on the world cruise 2023, and we were told that the pool grill dinners would be discontinued fleet-wide at the end of our cruise. At that time (late May), they said they would be reinstated for the world cruise and grand voyages.
The pool grill was enjoyed by many in the evening, and in fact we ate there the last night of the cruise with 12 other people we had met on the 2017 world cruise.
It depends on your Cruise Director! He/She organizes that. We’ve been on some fabulous (party!) sail aways, and others not so much. Unfortunately, sometimes, weather dependent.
Nevertheless, you will have a great time!
