Post your scheduled cruises, give it about 3 days, and you're chances of a royalup to any room will have greatly improved. (No need for ya to bid a penny over min either).
We just came off the ship. Glad they gave ‘absolutely nothing’ for the delay that was due to the port being closed (fog).
if that precedent had been given, ‘I got in a car accident enroute to my cruise….wonder what they’ll offer for onboard credit’ would be the next expectation.
Those that want to spend more time at the muster station, knock yourself out; heck, spend all of boarding there…..the staff may enjoy your company. Those that are good w/ the current system, we’ll just listen to everyone else worry/complain/dream about how ‘panicked’ everyone might be someday. Sounds like everyone should be content…..yet we drone on.
We’ve found it unpredictable, although have only gotten it twice. First time was Sunday morning between 1-5am EST. Second time was a Saturday morning around 7am EST. We’re certainly no experts - just our 2 experiences.
Simply weigh the risk/reward and make a determination that fits you. If the risk of waiting until your assigned time is less than the reward of getting onboard sooner, go for it. We’ve been on 12 since the restart…Tampa was strict, the other 11 couldn’t have cared less (PC, PE, Miami, Seattle).
