I got one planned in a few weeks , too late to buy insurance.
Then I got a text form some one at sea now, said they ran out of Eggs for Breakfast and no longer have some meats on the buffet as they are running out of fresh foods.
Then I read this that said they are going to an other port for more supplies.
Yep, next time I will get insurance.

this makes me laugh, not at you op but at the person giving you the info. The ship's aren't even supposed to be back in port until tomorrow but today the cruise ship is running of meat and eggs. Also they wouldn't be rationing things since they will be replenishing shortly.

8pm Pacific is 11pm Eastern. ;)

thanks for the tip about it getting dark early! I suppose that means it gets a little chilly as well? I'll be sure to bring a jacket.
Glad to help. I would take a jacket it could get a bit cool. Also if you have any other questions let know and I will be glad to answer to the best of my ability. My favorite port to cruise out of is NOLA and was on the Triumph about 6 months ago.

I would imagine it would take a lot for Carnival to cancel the cruise but I would advise that if you even think you might get Seasick to get your meds now.

If you can afford it do both you are vacation. Treat yourself.

Really enjoying the review looking forward to the rest of it.

As ABQrobin has already point out there may be only one time per excursion due to the time and also how popular the excursion is. So if you want to do more than one excursion a day you might have to find a different set of excursions you would want to take or possibly go outside of Carnival and use a private excursion provider. You would be able to find some recommendations for private providers on the port of call threads.

I have done this several times and have never been charged a corkage fee.
-
I wish Carnival would post the most current Funtimes (in general) for all their ships on their website.

There are only two slips on Grand Turk. You can see them clearly if you use Google Earth.
It's another "Carnival Corp" only port similar to Mahogany Bay, Amber Cove.
did not know this learn something everyday thanks.

Wow, that's weird!!
if I am not mistaken most Fantasy class ship don't even with a balcony same for the Destiny class.

Oh wow! I had no idea it would take that long to get down the river! I'm even more excited now for our cruise in Feb 2018. We booked an Aft Balcony so looking forward to enjoying the sights down the river!
I really enjoy going down the Mississippi alway so much to check out as you are going. I do want to caution you that in February it does get dark very quickly after sail away so make sure you get to see as much as you can before getting too dark.

That will work out just fine. If i might make a suggestion, I would recommend the Ruby Slipper for breakfast. One of my favorites.

You will embark and debark at the Atrium in Mobile.
-
Sorry OP bur there is really no way of knowing. You could end up with a Cruise that goes to the Bahamas.
-
Is there a list of these larger cabins anywhere. It would be nice to know to look for these.
-
Looks like Carnival will be in Mobile for at least another year and a half. Carnival extends contract in Mobile.

.Probably another Fantasy class. Any of Carnival's ships will fit, but are unlikely.I thought there was a turning basin issue have they resolved that?
-
If so I wonder which ship they would put Mobile.
-
It will be about 6 hours until you get to the gulf.
-
I for one don't want to pay higher rates for things I will never use. Such as a Rock Climbing Wall, Flo Rider, or an Ice Skating rink. All the extra comes with a price. so I am okay with Carnival sticking with what they have gotten right so far.

While I have never Sailed the Paradise. I have sailed the Destiny which is now called Sunshine with a upgrades. IMHO I would think the Sunshine is a pretty good upgrade as the Destiny was an upgrade to Fantasy class ships. These are just my opinions and I am sure some will disagree.

What is NKOTB?
Flights into New Orleans
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
For peace of mind I would come in a day early but you will have the added cost of a hotel room. I have actually flown in to NOLA to catch a cruise arrived at 1:00 and didn't have a problem.
