  1. @Biker19 I kind of think it is an IT glitch as it references going to a bar that does not exist on Harmony of the Seas.....but my idealistic, unrealistic side is dreaming for a quick little refurb as it repositions between Miami and Galveston....
  2. I thought that Casitas were only available on the newer ships or newly amplified ships, but they are for sale on the 2/11/2024 sailing of Harmony of the Seas.....Does anyone know anything about this? Even the description seems odd, as it requires on to visit the Coconut and Lime bar to pick out a casita, which is a bar not on that ship.....Thank you!
  3. Hi, all! I apologize if this question has been answered before (I did look around on the site to the best of my ability). For the cabanas in the Chill Island and South Beach area, is the beach area in front of the cabanas only for those who have cabana reservations? Or do your cabana reservations mean you just get access to the cabana and anyone can use the beach area right in front of it? Thanks in advance for any assistance. J
  4. Right? I kind of hope I get offered an option # 3 at some point for my July 20, 20224, sailing on Harmony of the Seas....
  5. That is their older class of ship like Ruby. Their Royal class ships (like Royal, Regal, Majestic, etc) have balcony cabins with a sofa if you select the premium kind. I do not like not having a sofa either, but the Ruby Princess was an amazing deal out of Galveston last month. I really like having more cruise lines, more choices, and more competition in Galveston. I am typically a Princess cruiser, but we are trying Royal Caribbean next year on Harmony of the Seas.
  6. Hello, all! I was wondering if anyone knew of any update about the Royal Beach Club at Nassau and when it is rumored to open? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
  7. Good to know for my upcoming cruise! I love having them as keepsakes, and they are just easier to read. I will make sure our cabin attendant knows. Thanks for the info!
  8. I agree with you. Booking any travel lately means you have to be able to stomach a lot of change and moving rules. I hope that Princess can deal with this well and make as many cruisers happy as possible. I personally am thrilled to see things returning to "normal." Happy cruising to everyone!
  9. Good point! I reserved 5:20pm for dinner to go to shows and have fun and not have to worry about having to wait for a table to clear.
  10. How recently was your cruise? I appreciate the information!
  11. I ended up booking the aft dining room (Botticelli) based on what you said about it being less busy (especially can see that based on other comments about people wanting the other dining rooms) and because it has more windows like @Steelers36 pointed out (hoping to get a table with a window and have more natural light and views). We had the dining room in the same position when on the Grand Princess and never had an issue beyond finding it on night one. We are on deck 5 (unless we bid to upgrade), but the extra steps will make me feel less guilty about having dessert. I appreciate the feedback about the drinks and having the bars being closer is nice. We will be herding a bunch of kids to dinner, so it is not as much of an issue for us. I will wait if a waiter will bring me something at dinner. Thanks everyone!
  12. Oh, the dining room in question is not hard to get to. My family was mapped to a dining room in a similar location on the Grand Princess. I was just joking around as it feels like an odd location to get to, but any real bother is truly a first world problem. On other Princess ships, some dining rooms have more windows and have different seating types (I heard about his for the Sapphire Princess on Cruise Tips TV)....I was just checking to see if there were any real differences in dining rooms for the Ruby Princess even though I did not see any when reviewing the deck plan. Thanks for responding and have a great day!
  13. Hello, all! My family and I are sailing on the Ruby Princess in January 2023, and I wanted to ask about the main dining rooms. Is any preferable, other than the one at the back of the ship requiring going up, down and doing the hokey pokey to get to? Thanks!
