  1. Weโ€™ll be on QV in a few weeks, are the QV toiletries worth taking home? Iโ€™ll remember our little secret when weโ€™re on board SofD in June and maybe blag some of the shower gel for myself. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  2. Saga have the refillable toiletry bottles and the quality of the contents were very good. We donโ€™t travel with Cunard so much but I was surprised that bath salts were no longer provided.

  5. Thanks for posting screen grab Lyn, it is a lot more informative than the screen I can see. No mention of wine on my screen either. Presumably the VIP designation is the early embarkation but as Lou says probably not worth anything with so many 'VIPs'

  9. I agree wholeheartedly Bell Boy. I raised this with reception on my cruise but to no avail. Announcements in public spaces are fine but especially on sea days, in cabin announcements are a very unwelcome intrusion. Too much nannying I'm afraid. Would this put you off sailing with them again?
  10. I would say that the above is a big factor in people not going to the trouble of organising a tour. I have been involved on roll calls where private tours have been set up, filled and then after final payment people have cancelled. It would certainly put me off organising anything, especially if minimum numbers have to be met.
  11. It does seem as if they have a problem. Sapphire didn't dock on the 6th until 13:40, so very late in. I've looked at the captains' blogs but nothing on Sapphire since 2nd November.
  12. To be fair, arranging a taxi for next August does seem a little premature ๐Ÿ˜€
  13. I'm pretty sure that diet colas are available on Sapphire but I cannot remember which brand they carry. OH always requests diet tonic for his G&T and that wasn't a problem. If you have a preference for one I would get in touch with shoreside customer services and ask them, they are pretty good at finding out the answers,
