  1. You can ring 0800 068 8731 to register πŸ™‚
  2. If you are representative of the majority of Saga guests then maybe it's a good job you are looking elsewhere. πŸ™‚
  3. The biggest gripe I have with Saga is their tardiness in producing their 2021 itineraries. They will have more capacity to fill now and whilst we are interested in booking with them in 2021 have already committed to a Princess cruise for that year. Hopefully when they release their brochure we can find another 1 or 2 to book with them.
  4. I enjoy a balcony, it is nice to be able to step outside your cabin, to be nearer to the sea, even on cold weather cruises. Raked theatre, most ships have them, exercise caution. How many broken necks have you witnessed or is this just hyperbole? Norovirus never had it but then I take sensible precautions, it is not the ship but the passengers. First night on Sapphire last year a wheel chair passenger vomited over my legs outside a lift. I immediately returned to cabin and thoroughly washed myself, and affected clothes and was never troubled by the virus, whilst many on board were affected. If you find that the prices are too high then there are other cruise lines which are cheaper but Saga inclusions mean that apart from excursions there is little need to spend any extra. In short, you get what you pay for, and there are many travellers who enjoy a more quality experience on a smaller ship. No rose tinted glasses here either. Each to their own.
  5. How is your cruise progressing? I hope you are all having a great time πŸ™‚
  6. I hope they stayed healthy πŸ™‚ Never had it and want it to stay that way.
  7. Can't comment on the SofD outbreak as wasn't on board. Were you?
  8. That wasn't what happened on Saga Sapphire last February.
  9. I have been on board Azamara, Cunard and Saga ships when there was a GI outbreak. Cunard quarantined both occupants of the cabin whereas Saga allowed the unaffected person out and about around the ship. I have to say I prefer Cunard's approach.
  10. So you are part of medical team on board Spirit of Discovery?
  11. I’ve done 10 cruises with Oceania and never encountered norovirus on board. Passengers spread norovirus due to their habits, all the cruise line can do is adopt measures to minimise the spread when it has been brought on board.
  12. Loungers are standard on the extended B3 balconies, no need to request.
  13. The request was for vistaman who has been trying to discover. For myself a glass of fizz will usually suffice, I don't have such a discerning palate. Whatever, the information will add to our store of knowledge re Saga rules. As you are on board maybe you could ask?
