We used Blackberry in 2022 and was very satisfied with their services but in 2023 they were really expensive. So in 2023, we used Jewel Airport Transfer. We were very happy with them as well. I would highly recommend either. Both were responsive to my emails.

I have only been on one NCL cruise many years ago so I am a NCL newbie. We are cruising in March 2024 on the Bliss in a Club Balcony. Specialty restaurant dining is included. I understand that we pay the $39. gratitude. Is there a certain number of times you can eat in the specialty restaurants?

In July of this year, the Royal transfer was $95. pp so we used a private car service, Jewel Airport Transfers, for much less than Royal.

I appreciate you taking time to respond. I did read several posts about the limited number of hotels but I was trying to see if anyone had specific information on those named hotels.

We will be going straight to Civitavecchia the day before the cruise. Do you have any knowledge of hotels there. We are considering the Hotel Porto Do Roma, Hotel Borga del Mare, or B&B II Veliero. Are you familiar with any of those or do you have any recommendations? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks for this heads up, GerryL13. That's exactly what I was planning to do in Rome next June. I thought as long as you booked Oceania Air and got to the airport on embarkation day you could utilize Oceania's "free transfers". I guess I will have to rethink my plans.

We stayed at Holiday Inn on Herbert Walker which is very close to the cruise terminal and Moxy which is one block from the Holiday Inn. Moxy is also very near the West Quay Mall where there are numerous restaurants. I recommend both hotels.

We had a similar situation a few years ago. We stayed at the Ibis Hotel that was very close to the airport. We were able to get dinner and a few hours sleep. They had an airport shuttle that made getting back to the airport convenient.

We used Jewels Airport Transfers from LHR to Southampton hotel and then from Southampton cruise port back to LHR. The driver was Lucas and he communicated with me every step of the way. We would definitely use them again.

We used Blackberry in August of 2022 and they were very good. I checked their prices for our June 2023 cruise but their prices had increased dramatically. Instead, we booked with Jewel Airport Transfers and the price was agreeable to us. We used them from Heathrow to Southampton and back to Heathrow after the cruise. They were very responsive to all communication. Our driver was Lucas and he was great.

We're leaving for Southampton tomorrow and we're staying at Moxy until Friday to then board our Anthem of the Seas cruise. I'll let you know later this week.

Another Cruise Critic member recommended this car service. We are using Jewels Transfer car service from Heathrow to Southampton and they will also pick us up at the ship for our return to Heathrow after the cruise. Reasonable price for private car service and much less stress.

We are on the June 23 to July 7th Anthem of the Seas cruise from Southampton. Can I purchase Southampton to airport transfer while on the ship or do I have to purchase the transfers in advance?
