  2. Can anyone tell me why it takes much longer to get the insurance refunded than any other refund of a cancelled cruise. This has happened more than once and I can't seem to get a straight answer out of RCCL. I booked directly through them and their Vacation Protection Plan that they offer. It literally takes weeks after the rest has been refunded. Appreciate any thoughts on the subject.
  3. My cruise was cancelled. I received my FCC on the original cruise fare. However, I have not heard a word about a refund for my gratuities, vacation protection plan and my taxes, fees and port expenses. It's been over a month now. Is the refund taking much longer than the FCC or do I have a problem? Thanks
  4. My cruise has been cancelled. I purchased a specialty dining package for 5 nights. How is this refunded or credited as it is purchased separately from the cruise package and thusly not apart of the regular cruise payment? Do I need to contact a particular department to get an answer? Thank you in advance!
  5. Perhaps this has been addressed before. Just wondering if redeemed VISA points will be credited back to my Bank of America card account since my cruise has been cancelled? I redeemed 50,000 points for a $500 OBC and haven't seen any resolution to this. I tried RCCL twice and got no suitable answer and Bank of America said it is up to RCCL to resolve. Has anyone run into this issue before and how was it resolved? Thanks for any help in this matter!

  7. Does anyone know, when you have a back to back cruise, if any unused OBC from the first cruise be transferred to the second cruise? Do you have to use all the credit on the first cruise or is it refunded or lost. Hopefully we have a back to back in Australia in Feb. 2021 but who knows for sure. Thank you for any help.

  10. DW and myself are doing our first back to back cruise. In fact it is a back to back to back cruise to Australia and New Zealand in 2021. How does the whole process work, specifically on embarkation and debarkation day.? Do we stay on board or leave the ship. We have the same cabin for all 3 segments. Do we have to vacate the room? Are new room cards issued with with our benefits for each segment? We will be Diamond for the trip so hope to get all the benefits on each section of the cruise. Basically how do the process work! Thanks for any help>
  11. This may have already been addressed. How is Royal Caribbean compensating cruisers for their port charges differences in cost from the original cancelled cruises to Cub to the rebooked Eastern Caribbean ones? The port charges were quite a bit more for Cuba than the EC. If you accepted RCCL's rerouting do you get a credit for the difference on your cruise once you board?The difference on my rebooking is almost $200. I was given a discount on the rebooking on the cruise itself but not on the port charges. Hope this makes sense and thanks!
  12. How long has Royal Caribbean been offering 40% off of their wines under $100 when you purchase a 3 night package. Sure brings them down to a more reasonable price. Thanks
