  1. Ok, so my girlfriend and I are booked on the Harmony of the Seas in august. Upon booking the option to select traditional dining was not available, so I'm assuming it's full. I've always done traditional dining and enjoyed meeting new people and having a set time, same table, and the same wait staff and what not.

Is there a chance that once aboard the ship we could possibly slide into a traditional dining slot? or are those chances slim to none? Also, for my time dining, are you seated in different sections every night with different staff? What are your experiences with MTD?

My girlfriend and I have discussed it a bit, and honestly we are a bit torn. We like the idea of an early dinner (6:30), but at the same time we definitely would enjoy soaking in the last bit of sunshine at 5:30 on the pool deck on some days, rather than going to get ready for dinner. So in that regard, MTD seems appealing. So we are a bit torn as to what to do...

We had the oposit "problem", wanting MTD, but was full so had to be put on 18:00 tradisional. Our Travel Agent just called RC customer service and a couple of hours later they had changed it to MTD. Might work the other way aswell. Can be a status on the homepage that is not updated or wrong.

  2. Is the room service menu all from same kitchen, or is it based on what kind of dining the ship offers?

ie burgers, sandwiches, fried chicken, etc. Im wondering since the Jewel will lose its SeaView and so far no info about park cafe.

We have a 5yrs old so one of us, we`re 11 ppl in total, will probably stay in the room when he goes to bed and late night snacks/food on the balcony will be required. Also looking forward to queit balcony breakfasts. :)

  3. I think you're dealing with a mis-programmed website.

Wait until you are onboard to purchase the internet. If you are a C&A member, you can get a discount by purchasing onboard, as opposed to pre-cruise. It does not take long to puchase onboard, you don't have to wait in line, you just use your own device to sign up.

Is it any discount (at all) for GOLD member aswell, or just for the higher ranks?

  4. We were on January 10-17 and the Seaview Cafe seemed to be a Wok restaurant serving Asian food. We didn't investigate further, but didn't notice anything being complimentary. It seemed to be a for-a-fee dining option.

Does it have a solarium cafe/pizzeria now? And what kind of food does they serve in the solarium on jewel?

  5. Hello.

We are spending a couple of days in Rome before before the cruise and will order private transfer to the port.

Was wondering when is it normal to start letting people onboard and when is the rooms normally ready? We have a normal balcony cabin.

The ship leaves at 17:00 from Civitevecchia Port. (05:00pm)

Tried to search the forum, but couldnt find a direct answer for it.
