Time to pack 😞

Lots of good looking desserts tonight and I had trouble choosing. I eliminated the toffee pudding when I saw it came with an over ripe banana. I went with the soufflé since it was off menu. It was good but slightly undercooked making it a little too mushy especially once you added the sauce. I asked Roldan for his recommendation between the other two and without hesitation he said the biscuit. It was very good and the best dessert of the bunch. I tried a bite of my mom's, give that one a pass.

Desserts are here. My mom got the nougat glace 833 I got the biscuit crouistillant We each got the soufflé

It was fascinating to witness for sure. Seems to have calmed down some now.

Yea the Cobb salad was a little lacking. I don't eat prime rib.🤢

I loved camping as a kid in the cub scouts. I don't know how enjoyable I would still find it.

The Chiquita chicken was different. I didn't dislike it but it was an odd combination of flavors. Worth trying once. Tje only negative for me was tje chicken was a little dries out. The pasta was very good. Very nice creamy flavor and the pasta was not over cooked tonight. The pieces of chorizo in it had a nice flavor. Dessert menu. There is also an off menu special, grand mariner soufflé.

Salad was just a salad. It was good but as I've said, hard to get too excited about a salad. I think I prefer my Cobb salad I buy at home better. I'm trying something very different for dinner. I hope I like it.

We threw them off coming at a different time so got a new table. Longer wait than coming just slightly later too. The menu.

Went to dinner a little early since there is no effy drawing and I don't need to fill the bar Got my pager and a prosecco.

Sounds like quite the adventure. It's not that bad thankfully. She always hunters down under the covers as I like to keep it quite cold 😆

Giving the casino a go

It's okay I'm not an outside person anyway. I took a pill first thing this morning and it just kept me from feeling ill.

Outside pools were drained. Oddly the indoor pool was not and is currently a wave pool 😆. Thanks! I'm smacking it!

Shop vacs have been deployed to try and ease the deck flooding.

I'm sure things are fine. I'm more concerned with her falling as her balance is already not good. Here is the gym carpet, dizzying indeed.

Conditions deteriorated again while I was in the gym. My time on the treadmill included upper body strength training as I hung onto the machine for dear life. The fog horn is blasting again. The ship is taking quite a beating and the sounds of creaks and shutters have reached a level as to be a little uneasy. Sure there is nothing to worry about, but those sounds are still unsettling. Their are deck hands trying to push the water into the drains but they are losing the battle as the final corners of the deck are now covered in water. I've moved back into the solarium. The covered roof in here is not watertight as rain enters inside here as well. One of the panels appears to be blown off, but it may just have been opened on purpose for some reason. The wifi is hanging in though.

Heading to the gym now. Deck 10 is open, but not 11 or the pools.

Little late opening probably due to weather. Only half is ready so I'll go back up for some sweets when it opens. The sign says tuna but I think that is salmon.

So far the rain is staying off away from us, or more likely the captain is keeping us away from it. Deck 4 is closed and the wind I can hear through the window is quite intense. I'll check out the upper decks when I go up for tea time but I imagine they will be closed off as well.
