My husband and I both have iPhones. On our last cruise in September, we were able to use wifi calling to make and receive calls while still in airplane mode. A crew member in the Internet cafe set it up for us and it worked great. Was able to call the pet sitter at home as well as other family members traveling with us onboard the ship.

I've always been able to order gluten-free pizza at both Alfredo's and at Slice. They make you a personal-sized gluten-free pizza with your choice of toppings at both locations. At Slice, GF pizzas are cooked in a pan to avoid cross-contamination, and cook time runs about 15-20 minutes.

I've had this problem in the past as well. What worked for me was adjusting the printing scale slightly. In the dialogue box that pops up when you go to print the document, select "more settings," then "scale," then "custom." Then you'll have to play around with the scale numbers slightly. I think I scaled it down somewhere between 90 and 99 percent, and I was able to then get the entire luggage tag to print on one page. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your semi-live, @mk-ultra. My husband and I are taking this cruise in March. I was wondering if the first formal night was held on the first full sea day or the second full sea day. I want to make specialty dining reservations for that evening, but cannot remember which night the first formal night is for this itinerary. Thank you for your help!

In Dine My Way, choose "View or Book Individual Daily Reservations," then choose the green "+Add Reservation." On the "You might be double-booking" screen, select "Okay." On the next page, select "Specialty Dining." You should be able to make a reservation from this point. For some reason, choosing "Explore Dining Options" on the first page always seems to result in the "Please check back closer to your journey date to use this feature" no matter how close you are to sailing. Hope this is helpful🙂

I have these too. I clip them to the strap of the small purse I always carry on board. They have held up beautifully through multiple cruises. Love them!

We sailed on the Ruby Princess the week after Cruise Raider, and we were in cabin E624, just a couple of doors down from Cruise Raider’s noisy cabin, and also under the Crown Grill kitchen area. I can personally attest to the noise in the middle of the night. Sounds like they are pouring hundreds and hundreds of empty cans into metal bins. I was so grateful that Cruise Raider had mentioned the noise in their post. We went prepared with a large package of ear plugs, just in case we heard the same noise.

Just sailed the Ruby Princess in September and had a wonderful gluten-free meal at Sabatinis. I have celiac disease and our waiter was very helpful in pointing out which items on the menu were safe for me to eat.

Thank you so much for this information on the noisy cabin. We board the Ruby on Sept 7 and are in cabin E624, just three doors down from that noisy cabin and still under the Crown Grill kitchen. I am now packing earplugs. Lots and lots of earplugs. 😂

If memory serves me correctly, they do not have gluten-free items available at afternoon tea unless they are given notice the day before. I usually let the head waiter in the MDR know the night before I know I want to attend afternoon tea. In my experience, they provide a couple of gf sandwiches and maybe one type of gf sweet. They do not make gf versions of all the different pastries and goodies that are served to everyone else. That said, it’s been several years, a pandemic and a restart since I’ve had afternoon tea aboard a Princess ship, so things could be different now. 🙃
