  2. We received one from Bottomline Technologies a couple of months ago and you had to open the letter to see it clearly. Bottomline Technologies for Princess Cruises. Couldn’t see all that through the windowed envelope. Bottomline….we got our refund! 😆 It took 6-8 weeks. Maybe they have different offices working refunds. Could vary with the mailing envelopes. IDK.
  3. You are so right. Why should we have it to ourselves when we visit Princess Cays? Well, at least we did for many years. Anyway, I’m happy it is helping their economy. Thank you for pointing that out.
  4. Definitely, while in port is a good idea. We did it for Juneau and it was 82 that day in early June. So hard to know. Haines would be a pretty backdrop. We have booked it, checked the weather, and then changed it a couple of times. We haven’t had a problem doing that. Just called RS to change it.

  7. Sounds like the Ruby needs a dry dock upgrade on the Caribe deck. Did you notice if other balconies on the Caribe were drab also? IDK about the Grand, but hopefully it’s not the case. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I, for one, book those large balconies.
  8. 2 mos ago. They weren’t there, before we sat down to have cocktails and I asked. They had one come up and take a photo before our meal was served. Hope they continue it.
  9. That sounds amazing! This is our favorite dinner. The backdrop sounds great. We usually set it up for sail-away from a port. So, it’s not too windy and we have the view. The food is great and service is impeccable on every ship we’ve been on. They call ahead and verify the day and time and if any allergies. You can alter the menu a little if there is something you don’t like. They take your cocktail order and they set up the table. You get a chilled bottle of champagne, flowers and a photographer shows up for a photo. (All included). They set up a table/cart in the hall and send a waiter running back and forth for the main dinner items. Serving courses to you one at a time and staying in the hall most of the time. It’s a private, wonderful experience. Last time we had Moorea as our backdrop at sail-away. Beautiful! You will love it. 😍
  10. That is a very subjective and open ended question. You would need to determine what’s best for you. Be prepared to get a location or cabin that you may not want. Look to see, where the category you are bidding on, could be located. Check the deck plans. This is the most comprehensive and helpful thread I have seen on the bidding process.   12. Exactly, we know it will affect every entry on the App for dining reservations, until they have finished programming changes. Anyway, @phabric I would recheck on April 15 or 16, they should have finished the update and the SD should be available? The new MDR reservations for cruises after Sep 14th, won’t be available until June 17, to book, as the old ones will be cancelled. We will see…
  13. Interesting. I read this as, if your traveling Sep 14 or later: April 15, your pre-booked MDR reservations will be cancelled. June 17, you can rebook your MDR reservations in the App, under the new plan.
  14. If a room steward is nearby, ask to be let in. If not, use the crew chat on the App to have the room steward open door for you.
  15. Great recommendations here. I have to say Silverado and Caymus were my two favorites Cabs also. We like to go to Vines and try suggested wines and sometimes find a new fave. Loved Belle Glos Pinot and Seghesio Zin too. Enjoy your wine cruise on Sky! 🍷
  16. This screenshot shows you already have the wifi single device package. To switch to your July cruise, which I assume the above screenshot is not the July cruise? On the App you should show the next cruise… just click bottom right photo…brings up cruises. Click on view all or the picture of the next cruise by scrolling over to the right, swipe left. Click on the cruise you want. THEN, look at the wifi/internet for that July cruise. Book your internet package unless you already have it included in a Plus or Premier package? And, yes, you should show a 50% discount on that wifi screen to purchase. If you don’t, then your loyalty status is wrong on the App. Hey, a lot of us have that issue. 😳

  18. No reply is a no reply email from them. If you’re trying to add a past cruise, that cannot be done by the “link a booking” as it does not work and never has. Never try to link, it can cause issues. The agent’s on the PCL phone should be able to do this, or if you have a TA/CVP (or your daughter’s), call them for assistance. Or, you can try again the 1800 Princess phone. Other suggestion, try an email to: customerrelations@princesscruises.com In the Subject field: Urgent Sailing: May 4, 24 List: Name: Captain Circle Number: Booking no: Sail date, ship Explain you want to add an old cruise to this account, so it will be updated when you sail on May 4th. You have tried many times with no success. Haven’t had much luck, but maybe you will. If you can’t get this done ahead of the cruise, I’d take information with you on the cruise to guest services/captain’s circle for help. Let us know.

  21. If you’re looking for information on Jamaica, I’d read the State Department information on traveling. We no longer get off the ship at Jamaica stops. JMO Go to: Comprehensive Travel.state.gov Search: Jamaica travel advisory The Sky, is a beautiful ship. The only thing we don’t like is the noise in the Piazza, when the ship is full. Volume..way too high.
  22. We usually get the final folio by email within a few days. Some have reported not receiving them. Check your junk mail also. Your CC hold should fall off, 5-7 business days, depending on your bank.
  23. No it is not necessary. It is reusable only if it’s a b2b, same ship, continuous journey.
