I was told the same thing when I booked, I had 13910. But after I did research I found it wasn't the case... I was in 12910 an I am in it again September 30, 2017...here is a youtube video that may ease your mind...
Thank you!

Where would we be without the interwebs? All hail Google!! [emoji16]

Ha ha, right?! Thank you so much for the heads up! I still think it's very odd that o can't find any reports about that specific cabin. If the NCL agents do have their info wrong, it really needs to be corrected asap.

Sorry I'm a little confused are you talking about 12910 or 13190? Your original post says 13910 however you are now mentioning 12910, seems there could be a big difference between deck 12 and 13.....
Both.lol. I'm confused too. Norwegian says that Deck 13, specifically 13910, has extra large balconies. 77 sq ft.
However, everything that I can read on here says that is wrong. So I'm thinking their deck plans/dimensions must be incorrect.
I didn't even realize it.., a nice poster poster warned me! Good thing for the interwebs!

Go to 3:35-4:05 of this video You can see the balconies well. Deck 9 and 12 are clearly the largest. I have 9922 booked in October:
Thanks!

Thanks for all of the advice!
So..months later.. I just made the switch from the Pearl to the Escape. Yesterday. I think he will have more to do on the Escape..I chose a Western Caribbean. Kiddo is a huge fan of waterslides, I think we'll have a great time!

Unless this video lies, they've got their dimensions wrong for their poor agents. lol Check out about 7 minutes in and you can see the balcony for yourself. That sure isn't 32 sq ft! ;p

I just made the switch. I'm a little frightened. Hopefully their dimensions are wrong!!!

The balcony will have 2 chairs, 2 loungers, and a small table.. We actually have 12908 next door also. Our room steward offered to open the partition between last time ...
I just switched for the 3rd time. From 13910 to 12910.
I'm extremely nervous. The last 3 times that I've called each person has told me that 13910 has a 77ft balcony and 12910 is 34ft.
Posts on this site say something different though. I'm going with the CruiseCritic advice...and against Norwegian's.

Deck 12 is the 2nd deepest behind deck 9 on Escape.
Here's deck 12...
It has 2 loungers, 2 chairs, and a small table.
Can you tell me the cabin number please?

I'm so confused. I was just told that 12910 has a balcony of 32sq ft. Could their plans be wrong?

Another post critical of the aft balconies on 13.
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2333950From largest to smallest balconies on the Escape's aft cabins:
Largest>>> 9, 12, 15, 11, 10, 14, 13 <<<Smallest
Plus the higher you go, the more likely you are to have some evening noise pollution from Spice H2O.
Thank you! I'm on the phone with NCL, again.lol

There is no 13901 on the Escape..If you mean 13910 then Aft facing balconies on deck 13 and14 are the smallest of all the aft cabins. Aft facing balconies on decks 9 and 12 are the largest
https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Norwegian-Escape
Thank you. Yes, I meant 13910. I was told that the balcony was 77 feet. Deck 12 is not available, and deck 9 is a little too far from the pool deck for my son, I think.
I am having horrible luck finding photos online!

I really need help here. TA says deck 13 aft balconies are 77square ft. Many people on CC say deck 12 aft have these bigger balconies. Is there anyone on here who has actually seen a deck 13 aft B1 balcony? Any pictures of decl 13 aft?
Did you end up switching your cabin? I am currently booked in 13901 and also looking for photos online. Haven't had any luck.

I can't find any online! Just switched from 15242 to 13910 for the larger balcony. Would love to see any photos!! Thanks!

Mistake. Can't figure out how to delete this thread.

I just switched my cabin to 13901. Aft facing large balcony. I can't find any photos online. Has anyone stayed in this one?

some of these posts have me second guessing my room decision.
Is 15 a bad deck, as in smaller rooms and balcony?
Also, is Port side better for docking?

Congrats! Enjoy your cruise. We have been on the Escape twice and are within a few days of booking her for the 3rd time going to the Western Carib. There will be a lot of kids in the Splash Academy for your 7 year old. Great ship!
Thanks! We're going 6/24-7/1. I've never done a Caribbean cruise in the summer before.. I picked that week specifically for Alaska. Oh well lol
I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks all! I just booked it and cancelled the Pearl. I'm worried about the size so ended up just getting a mid ship balcony deck 15. Room 15242. Hopefully I chose wisely!
-
Get an aft balcony on deck 9 or 12.. They are larger. I was in 12910 in October 2016 and I am going to
be in the same room September 30...
Good to know! Thank you!

The waterslide lines were never an issue for us. The first day it was nuts because everyone was trying to ride them right away. After that, get there right away in the morning and you could ride them a good 10 times before a line started to form and even then, not bad. The kids pool was also not bad at all at any time. I even found myself swimming in it without looking creepy and having a drink with my feet dangling in the water while watching the kids. If you are hypersensitive (like me), the Escape may bother you, but I was fine with it. In fact, I loved it which is why we are going again next month.
Oh thank you! This makes me feel a lot better. They are such different trips, I need to make a decision. I'm leaning Western if we do the Escape. Have you been to Harvest Caye?

Thanks for the response! I currently have a cruise booked on the Pearl, 6/25-7/2. Travel party is myself and my (will be) 7 year old. The more I look at the Pearl, the less I think that my son will enjoy it. I know that he would love the Alaska excursions, but every time he sees a commercial of a cruise ship with slides, he asks to go.
I also considered the Breakaway..I would just rather sail out of Miami so we can combine it with a SoFla vacay.
Does this change anyone's opinion? Neither one of us are a fan of crowds and waiting in long lines
-
I am looking at booking this ship on either an Eastern or Western Caribbean.
The size is a little intimidating!!!!!
Are the pools/slides/activities a lot more crowded than smaller ships? Does it feel overwhelming when getting around?
We are looking at an aft balcony on deck 14.
Any info and advise would be appreciated!

Give yourself enough time at the Starbucks. Every time we went by it, there was a very long line. ;) My son had to settle for getting his Starbucks up high, on the 40th (I think, somewhere around there) in Columbia Center. We went up there instead of the Space Needle. Better views, much cheaper, and no lines. Plus, you get 2 for 1, when you go up, they stamp your hand so you can come back again that night, which we did.
Can we order ahead of time on the app?
Shows on the Escape?
in Norwegian Cruise Line

Am I understanding correctly.. the shows are an extra charge and need to be booked in advance?
