  1. You can order everything from the MDR menue in Luminae...
  2. If I may I would suggest to go to Warnemünde, a beautiful and historical place. Lots of old houses, called captains houses (Kapitänshaus), lots of boats along the canal, selling bread rolls with delicious fish, an old light house which you can climb and lots more...and of course a nice beach.
  3. Hi Jim, I am very much interested in your weather reports as we dare to go on a Transatlantic for the first time next year in April (22nd) from FLL to Amsterdam on Silhouette. And of course love to read your posts anyway.... 😉
  4. We were on the Reflection in May, in a suite which was wonderful. We got spoiled so much by our Retreat host Eli, for example with this superb lunch from the Porch, served on our balcony.
  5. My favourite is the Lycheetini... 😋. It's fruity and light sweet. I already tried a lot of the others but always come back to this one.
  6. Sorry for the question, but what is the Jones Act and how does it effect cruises?
  7. We were on the same cruise. A few things are in walking distance, such as some mosques, a bridge over the Golden Horn, the ferries to the Asian side and some markets. But there is a lot to walk even if you take a taxi to the main places (Hagia Sofia, Topkapi). Ps. Not to mention the endless track from the ship to the port exit... 😉
  8. We were in an Aft Sky Suite on Equinox a few years ago and we loved it. The pole didn't bother us at all. I did sleep on the side of the bed next to it. No problem at all. I think it was cabin no. 7356...
  9. Sibsie, I am sure you wanted to answer in your post #13, but it was empty.... 😉
  10. We will be on Reflection May 2nd for the next cruise from Civitavecchia. So take good care of the ship 😉. We also have booked a suite. Did you notice who is the Maitre D' in Luminae? And do they offer an Indian Dinner in Sushi on 5 during this cruise? Thanks & regards Christine
  11. Also agree....and far too many cruises and ships in the Carribean.
  12. I am sure you find a place to get tested on sunday. A lot of pharmacies in Rome open on Sundays. I keep my fingers crossed for you. 🙂
  13. True. Here quarantine when tested positive will not be mandatory anymore as per May 1st. It will then only be recommended (exeption: personell in hospitals).
  14. We will be on the same cruise and talked to the Celebrity office in Frankfurt, Germany today. They said we will most likely need a normal test in a place that provides the European covid test certificate. Here in Germany you can have the tests also on sundays and public holidays. It might be similar in Italy, at least at the airport in Rome.
  15. I will also follow along, especially the Transatlantic cruise as we originally booked that, too (but then canceled it due to the uncertain situation concerning travelling to the US, testing etc. a few months ago. 🙂 Have a great cruise (i.e. three cruises). Christine
  16. Enjoy! 😍 Can't wait for my first Lycheetini in May after 2.5 years...too long...
