Hi everyone. I have an upcoming cruise on Borealis. My question is how do people dress for dinner on Fred Olsen ships? I heard they were quite dressy. I have sailed on MSC, P&O and Royal Caribbean before and I would normally wear a polo shirt and smart jeans or chinos ..... is this ok? Yes I do have suit for formal night 🙂

Thanks Kwokpot and I was joking, I knew what you meant 🙂. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room are nice, but not essential. As long as we can get coffee somewhere on board it's ok. We have stayed in the US before so I know what the bacon is like, we've had some great breakfasts and meals out in the US. And I'm sure we could cope with the entertainment and the drinks on offer 🙂

So I found a really good deal on the Carnival Celebration a Western Carribean cruise from Miami. I know Carnival is aimed at the American market. Would my partner and I fit in as British people? We're in our 50s but young at heart (even if our joints aren't what they used to be in our 20s and 30s lol).

There are several YouTube channels out there by LGBTQ youtubers. TravelBlogJaime, Tips for Travellers, Cruise With Ben and David, Cruise Monkeys, Cruise Buoys, Chad Cruisers, High Seas Escapades, George and Dan, Tom and Dom Travel, JJ Cruise. Wow seems like all I do us watch LGBTQ youtubers. How do I find the time to go to work?

My partner and I travel solo for 2 reasons. We each have elderly widowed parents with health issues we don't want to leave with no one to call on for help,plus we have a rescue dog with issues that we can't expect a kennel or dog sitter to deal with. So if we didn't travel solo we'd never go anywhere.
