  1. I got the same blurb for my cruise in June dropping Key West and adding Cozumel and swapping Ocho Rios for Falmouth
  2. Yep Key West has been dropped and replaced with Cozumel on upcoming Jade cruises
  3. Yes, I have read that seems to be Key West is responsible for NCl dropping port! Truth though people are losing their minds and clutching their pearls on my roll call over this! I don’t usually cruise Caribbean anymore, been there done that, but my daughter wanted to take the grandkids on a cruise and none of them have a dam passport
  4. Is that all there is? Hoping NCL will load some excursions
  5. On Jade 06-15 received the email of itinerary changes! They dropped Key West and added Cozumel. Switched from Ocho Rios to Falmouth Jamaica. New excursions won’t hit web for 2 weeks!! What the heck is in Falmouth? Should I just stay on the ship? Been to Cozumel many times! Oh well just go with the flow all though my roll call on that other site people are losing their dam minds, plenty of “I won’t ever sail NCL again” I have insurance I’m canceling, told a few unless you have cancel for any reason insurance will not cover
  6. Oh I get it but it’s entirely out of my budget
  7. Well on a 4 day Bahama cruise itinerary change would be very limited lol Not worried about it as no air involved we would drive to Port Canaveral from Savannah the day before! I was indulging my grandson, he wanted to go on a cruise before he has to go back north and back to school
  8. I have the same concern as we booked a 4 day cruise to Bahamas end of August! Wasn’t even thinking of hurricanes when I booked! Thankfully no flying involved but curious if any cruise lines ever canceled a cruise because of hurricanes
  9. Makes sense! I love the Jade but beginning to think the round trip from Miami on Gem makes more sense, I still would not drive, Miami is a good 6 hour drive barring no traffic, no accidents from Savannah. AA has direct flights that I’d use
  10. Looking at Panama on Jade for Jan or Feb next year. Would you do Miami ending in Panama or start in Panama ending in Miami? Tampa/ Panama or Panama/ Tampa
  11. Thank you for taking the time to write a thought out well balanced review. Hope your next cruise to Bermuda is wonderful
  12. The couple from SC who have been doing all the squawking could have easily named them
  13. And yet the tour operator who should of got them to Senegal remains unnamed, of which the name should be public so others know to steer clear
  14. Usually I have email confirm within an hour. Booked early this morning and no email yet Never mind for some reason went to my junk folder
  15. St Petersburg Russia? That’s a horse of a different color, last place someone needs to be stranded
  16. It’s to the point if I just want some R&R, float around the sea I’ll book a cruise from one of the Florida ports I can drive to. Seen most of the Caribbean so a port change wouldn’t bother me. That said on the more expensive European cruises ports are important to me and I truly hesitate to book NCL. I either need to research other cruise lines, read their forums to see how often this happens or book a land based vacation on what I want to see! Port changes for weather, unrest etc things out of the control of NCL I don’t have a problem with but these Willy nilly changes and cancellations of late give me pause
  17. Depending on where she will be deployed I might be booking that one too
  18. I’ve read that and also read cargo ships take priority and rightly so. I was looking at Jade for Panama in January but think I’ll wait to see where they are redeploying her to. She’s my favorite NCL ship
  19. Did Alaska twice once on Bliss and once on Jewel. I would jump on the 10% off coupon for the latitudes cruise but it’s late September and last August/ early September it was quite windy and cold so I can only imagine very late September
  20. For sure a bummer for many! People are also complaining even with the 10% fcc trying to switch is costing more out of pocket money. At one time, not sure if they still do it, when Royal cancelled they had what was called a shift & lift where you could book a comparable cruise with your original price locked in
