Just booked b2b from Sydney in Q2 same cabin for each cruise . Also sold as one trip but on a. WL in Q2 at approx $830.00 per person less . But at least I have what I want ! I will call Cunard tomorrow but I am not expecting any discount . Bookings are quite heavy for QE in Oz for end of 24 and early 25 as it’s her last Season here

Starlink very good and purched using Diamond status. On our last two cruises I needed to “WFH” and was pleased how fast it was. By buying it on the second day after boarding, it lasted for about 20 days

How lovely to have Li Cunxin and Mary on board and to also see thr film . Not seen it yet but it’s on my radar 🌺

I have complained in the suggestion box a few times but don’t think anyone takes notice. We were on QE recently for 21 days and saw only 3 films , which were not much … other times quite unsuitable . We visit our local movie palace quite often and are quite easy to please .Unfortunately not on Cunard!

Wouldn’t mind a bit of cloud and rain - Should be boarding today, also a week ago , 21 days of bliss ! Better half became very ill with a virus 2 days before sailing on 13th and we had to cancel 😂 had 6 days in hospital home now but very weak and grounded for a while. To everyone embarking today Enjoy !

Beautiful view and ship at Circular Quay. Should be on board but unfortunately had to cancel 21 day Wedding Anniversary cruise day before boarding 😂😂

Thank you for all your replies. CC is always very helpful. Heads up for advice about getting letters for the insurance claim The cruise was for a significant wedding anniversary so pretty upset but glad spouse is getting the treatment he needs to beat this bug .

Does anyone know if this is accurate who is on board at the moment? can I cancel if I have this day before sailing ?

Also enjoy it for our first dinner on board We order it at lunch time together with Dover Sole. On QE shortly so will ask!

Plenty of room under the bed We have 2 very large cases and no problem Put the first one under at the side of the bed away from the wall at the top half of the bed. Push as far as you can then put second one under. ( can be. Difficult putting case under at wall side as not a lot of room). There is also a pull out drawer underneath the end of the bed which can fit carry on bags. Hope this helps

Our cost for the car was $70.00 usd 2 weeks ago. We did not embark in Mel as already on the ship, so can ‘t comment. We found the Mel Port staff extremely helpful and were directed to the front of the immigration line - perhaps looked old and feeble???

We disembarked on 17Dec. We booked a car through the concierge It was $70 to the airport and also had priority disembarkation . Car was waiting very close to the bus Worth every dollar as I knew it would have been a long walk. Porters took our cases. Thanks Cunard !

We are on B to B with Melbourne being the turn around. We were given new cruise cards the night before arriving into Mel ( same cabin) also transit cards and a letter stating we had already complete immigration in Perth at the start of our first cruise. We were told by Cunard staf that we could go ashore and then come back when we were ready . However when we decided to return to the ship had to wait until the ship was zeroed out which meant a waiting time of a couple of hours !! Also if we had decided to stay on board to enjoy a quiet time we would still be asked to disembark. Quite a bit of conflicting information !

We are doing a B toB in Melbourne shortly so will update. We have same cabin so won’t be moving

A good cruise travel agent will do all the payments for you to save all the worry . Most cruise specialists are members of CLIA and are constantly training with the cruise lines in order to keep up to date with everything relating to cruises .

Thank you . We are looking at Q3 ,so the choice is deck 4 or deck 8. Friend was in Q3 on deck 4 and said it was a very squeaky cabin and was eventually moved. I think our choice will be deck 8

Is there any noise from the Lido etc on deck 9 which can be heard in the deck 8 cabins? Last minute booking and not much choice ?

It was a half bottle in March. We have an early dinner but no pudding then we can enjoy the lovely chocolates and champagne the champagne is for me and my husband always asks for a beer!

Been to Bali three times with Cunard and it has always been a tender and quite longish ! Can’t remember where we actually landed but the first two times were different landings. The third time ,as there were a few Covid cases on board ( Nov 2022) Bali was not accepting us which was a disappointment.

We have a short Oz cruise coming up in November Instead of disembarking in Melbourne have booked another 14 day cruise to NZ We have the same cabin number (QG) . We have different booking numbers. Won’t need to pack and move but I guess will need to check out and check in again? Will we need to disembark from the first cruise and then wait around before we can embark again? Any advice wi be appreciated .
