Apologies if this has already been asked previously but I have searched and can’t find the answer. We are booked on the QM2 Southampton to Freemantle in January. My query is can we pay for a drinks package for just one leg of the world cruise, ie Cape Town to Freemantle. Certainly can’t afford to pay for 37 nights and don’t think my liver would appreciate it. One leg would be affordable for us. Thanks for your suggestions

Thanks everyone for your replies. It’s not for any controlled medicine just blood pressure tablets. The receptionist at my surgery informed me that I can’t have a prescription for 3 months. I should have also added that I am in the UK.

Can anyone advise what they do regarding repeat prescriptions during a world cruise. I have been told that I am unable to obtain a prescription for 3 months.

We will then spend 4 weeks in Australia before flying to Singapore to rejoin the QM2 and sailing back to Southampton. Are there any facilities to leave our formal wear on board whilst we are in Australia? Thanks

We have booked a cruise with P&O Australia for January 2024. Unfortunately we need to cancel. This has proved to be an ordeal. I submitted an online form and eventually received a reply. BUT the reply was to contact them by phone and informed me that the final payment was due on the 16th November 2022. This is incorrect because it is not due until November 2023. We hold Australian bank accounts so we paid the deposit in AU dollars. I'm really unhappy with P&O Australia customer service. Due to the time difference and expense it would be difficult to contact them on Monday. Any suggestions please?

So glad I found your post. I received an email from Cunard to say we had $90 each OBC for our November cruise. Not sure why but it would be rude to not accept :)

Thank you for such an informative post. We are thinking of booking a cruise on the Journey from Australia to Hong Kong in 2024. Should we book direct or through a travel agent? Have cruised with other companies eg P&O, Royal Caribbean, Cunard and have used travel agents.
