  1. Could you expand a little more on the experience? Food? Drinks included or do you use your beverage package? Length of the dinner? Any entertainment besides the beautiful views? Can you get a table for 2?
  2. Yes, you are correct. I was specifically referring to Craft Social's menu.πŸ™ƒ
  3. Thank you! Your information is incredibly helpful. Everything that I was looking for was answered here in matter-of-fact prose.
  4. Food in Craft Social would not be included in your unlimited specialty dining. I don't think that regular room service would comp the food, either. We ordered through our butler (upper level suite).
  5. No, they are not. Craft Social is considered a "bar" not a restaurant (look at the Daily for the list of dining options). We have looked at their menu and ordered it via room service to our suite and were not charged.
  6. ...and very tall😁, but seeing your height in the pictures I guess that the 2 of you see eye to eyeπŸ™ƒ
  7. What a wonderful review. I will definitely have to give those chocolate tarts a try the next time I am on board. Just out of curiosity, was it difficult getting a seat for any/all of the shows?
  8. I have finally caught up! Once again you have triumphed in a wonderful narrative and beautiful photos. Even though I am physically in the NM, I have the opportunity to be on board with you🀣. My DH and I are planning travel on Solstice TP in 2026--can't wait! It's so exciting to see the preview. On previous cruises, we were lucky to have Bart as our butler. Please, if it isn't any problem, send him regards from Robin and Frank. My husband will be tickled pink when I tell him that Bart is on Solstice now. They often message each other on WhatsApp. Continue to enjoy...
  9. However, we had asked for some of the items to be sent to our suite and were never charged. Speak with your butler beforehand to see if this would hold true for you, too. 😊
  10. I was informed on my last cruise that Craft Social is not considered a "restaurant" and that is why it is not included in the Unlimited Specialty dining package.
  11. I played pickleball on Equinox and Constellation. Celebrity does have paddles and pickle-balls. Never difficult to find other players. Courts are open all day long and they have open play and "tournaments". Pickle-on!🀣
  12. Hoping that you have a wonderful voyage. Your trip report is excellent--informative and colorful thus far. We are planning on the Solstice TP in April 2026--long way off but I am gleaning as much information as possible from you now😁. I was looking at the 2 Marriotts in the city and was wondering if location to the port was the main reason that you picked this one? Also, have you needed much cash (Australian or USD) since you have been there?
  13. That is correct. If you use a big box store as your TA then you cannot participate in MoveUp.☹️
  14. That's how we travel--save up and splurge--can't take it with you...😊
  15. Is this considered a specialty restaurant dining venue? Is it included in any type of dinner package?
  16. Thanks. Helpful. I'll also check out some YouTube videos.
  17. I had never heard of this. Can anyone give more information?
  18. We have sailed on Constellation PH, and RS, and nothing beats the balcony of the Millenium class, with the exception (possible) of the Iconic Suite. We have also sailed on Equinox and Silhouette PH, and RS, and enjoyed the layout of their PH and more Specialty dining options. We will be back in the Constellation PH this fall. Autumn of 2025 we will be in the Ascent Edge Villa (1st time for both) and are reserved for the PH Solstice in Autumn 2026. In regards to our favorite, we don't really have one. Once we board, we give ourselves over to the experience and enjoy each it to the fullest. We are very fortunate that we can avail ourselves to the luxury and try our best to find true enjoyment in everything we do...and not do. No matter what you choose, you will not make a mistake. Enjoy the preparation, the journey and the memories.😊
  19. Your frustration and anger is palpable. I am so sorry for the 2 of you to have to go through this physically and emotionally.
  20. Personally, I would go with the PH. Itineraries/cost don't seem to be of much concern to you. Like you, we tend to spend time in the suite and enjoy dining in Specialty and in the suite. We also prefer the heavy on the sea day experience to unwind and leave the world behind. For the size of the suite and the "feeling" that you will "own the ship", go with the PH.
  21. In the past 6 months we have sailed in the PH on Constellation, Equinox and Silhouette. We followed Chemmo's advice and gave a printed note to the butler, on the 1st day, of what our preferences were. The same note was emailed to the on-shore concierge, but that doesn't always pan out. Each time we handed the note over we were thanked profusely and told "now I don't have to wonder what you will need. Thank you for making my job easier." Laundry was complimentary the few times we used it. We had asked for dinner in the room 2x--one was an Indian dinner. We told the butler to work with the chef and devise any menu they liked as we would be open to anything. It was incredible! The 2nd dinner, we ordered different items from different restaurants with no issues. In fact, we asked our butler and stateroom attendant to join us--they did! What a wonderful experience! Our butler even sang to us! He was a former Bollywood actor. The large suite/balcony was perfect for our introverted personalities. We are private people who try to avoid crowds and crowded areas. (I am also immunocompromised.) This is our comfort zone. The service is impeccable, but I tend to believe that it is regardless of stateroom category. There is no label printed on me that designates what stateroom/suite I am in. In summary, is it worth it? To us, YES. Is it perfect--no, there are always issues but we don't let the hiccups get us down. Perhaps someone isn't having a great day, we don't walk in his/her shoes, and neither do they walk in ours. What we do know is that Celebrity is right for us for now and we will continue sailing with her in this fashion. Happy sailing everyone!!
  22. We will be sailing for the first time on Solstice. We have had the pleasure of previous sailings on Silhouette and Equinox. Are there any major differences between Solstice and Silhouette/Equinox? Please tell all the good/bad/pretty/ugly.
