  1. I know tipping threads are horrible but I have one I’ve never had to deal with. I typically tip my servers in a he MDR at the end of the cruise. However, we are in a suite this time and are ding in coastal kitchen every night. Last time I also had UDP so I didn’t dine in CK. Should I tip daily or tip at the end of the week. Since, I assume I’ll have different servers all week long, I thought I should tip daily. Also what is typical in CK for a daily tip should that be your course of action.
  2. Dropped at curb by Uber 10:32 Walked into promenade 10:39 First drink in the grove in hand at 11:01
  3. It actually not too far away but we’re pretty safe I think. We’re north of 10 right near we’re Fontana becomes Rialto. Thank you We’ve had this booked since the very earliest release of the icon itineraries. Getting RoyalUpped to a suite is going to make this an awesome trip.
  4. I say do it!! I’ve got B4B booked for 2026 that begins with a 14 night TA You’ll always regret what you didn’t do more than what you did.
  5. I do it this way all the time. I play the table games and like to take the money out as a room charge. That way I get the points on my BOA Royal Caribbean Visa. I immediately cash out, go to the cashier then head to the BJ table. The max they’ll let you do like that is $500 unless you gamble 50% of it at a machine. Table games play doesn’t count towards that amount.
  6. We loaded the suitcases in the car and after sharing thanksgiving with friends yesterday we drove over to a Hampton near LAX for an early flight today to Miami. We board Icon tomorrow. Of course the best laid plans of mice of men… We had a bit of a panic at the airport. We have clear so I wasn’t too worried about the line at security bit even the clear line had a bit of a wait. It wasn’t near as bad as the general line. However, when got to the front apparently my wife’s birth year was not right and didn’t correspond with her boarding pass so we we were told had to get out of line, go back down to CS, get in line there and get them to sort it out. Of course panic now sets in. When we get back we find an agent they direct us to a different agent and they sort out my error. I’m assuming it my errror since I booked the tickets. Now we go racing back upstairs to security. Thankfully the folks at Clare moved us strait to the front and we were at the gate with 15 minutes to spare. 😰 We boarded the plane and are now on our way for the great adventure. Icon this week then we get off and board Oasis next week.
  7. I just booked it for my Mar 3rd sailing without problem...
  8. No, you'll receive a little card in your room on embarkation day.
  9. What are the other 6 going to drink?
  10. Looks like it is an Independence apr 28. It's not 9 days 14 with 8 sea days plus embarkation. At least if he/she is on independence next year.
  11. I found it in the Onboard Activities section of the cruise planner... This is from my upcoming Oasis cruise.
  12. The one and only time I complained about a shore ex to the shore ex desk they gave me a 30% credit on my account.
  13. Are there any other Promenade view rooms available? If so you can call in and ask to be moved that room. It just has be the exact same category.
  14. Sorry, with all deference to Sydney... I'd take Whistler any day over almost anywhere else in the world. I miss my home hill so much. Thanks for sharing the pics... Now I'm homesick.
  15. hmm that's a tough one... At different times in my life one is always preeminent over the other. Basketball was also in the mix at times. Right now hockey has an edge in my fandom. 🙂 I'm not actively playing, coaching or reffing anything right now so Rugby and Basketball are in the back seat. When I'm actively involved in one it bubbles to the top. 🏉🏒 🏀
  16. The correct answers to the above questions are... Ford > Chevy Miller > Bud Apple > Microsoft Iphone > Android Hockey > Baseball Beach vacation = Mountain vacations Rugby > Football 🙂
  17. Your points are determined by you play... For slots its 1pt for every $5 you put through... For table games It is based on the host determining your average bet and the length of time you spend at the table. I've heard from others that that generally equals 1pt for about $10 of play but I think it is much worse than that.
