  1. Recently spent a week on Discovery Princess for our annual Mexico trip. For the most part we had a great cruise. It was our 10th Princess cruise in about 5 years. MDR and specialty dining venues were really slow service. After a 3 hour meal at Crown Grill we finally left out of frustration without desert. I just couldn't sit there anymore! Had a similar experience at Sabatini's, and then canceled our reservation at Rudy's because I just wasn't interested in another wasted evening. Finally on the last night we ate in the MDR. When we were first seated we sat through the silly baked alaska thing and then ordered dinner. By the time our mains had been served they were starting another baked alaska parade. We just left without desert and coffee out of frustration. We still had a wonderful vacation, but were disappointed that the dining venues we love were so frustratingly slow!! All the food we had on the cruise in all venues was very good otherwise. Anyone else experience this sort of thing?
  2. Same issue here. We are sailing Discovery on Jan 13th. I get that message every attempt at booking any specialty dining. This app sucks badly!
  3. We have a cruise coming up in 88 days and we are paid in full. We like to travel with two other couples and dine together. Usually each couple will book a night of specialty dining with my assignment being to book the Crown Grill on the evening of the first sea day, day two. I can bring up reservations on the medallion app, but when I try to book a table of six in the Crown Grill there is no availability of any kind at any time throughout the duration of the cruise. If I bring it down to a table for four, all of the times show as completely availably for booking. The other specialty restaurants do show as available for a party of six.......just not the Crown Grill. We have been on many Princess cruises and dined in the Crown Grill many times. I seem to recall they have many tables that accommodate six or more. Of course now we are forced to book through the app that we all know is sometimes awful. Any ideas would be appreciated!   4. Hello All! I have spent my entire career working in the airline business and currently work for a very large Chicago HQ'd airline. So many thing have to come together exactly right for a flight to depart on time: crew in position, fuel, bags, weather (not just at your departure and arrival cities but also enroute,) not to mention a serviceable airplane. I have never and would never fly on embarkation day! With time to spare, go by air! Dennis
  5. Honestly, I do not hesitate to move someone's thing if the chair has been obviously abandoned for more than 30 minutes. If they come by I'll let them know I ask them to be sent to the lost and found
