Did you book using a casino offer? Those aren't full price cabins. In fact, on our current sailing, many casino guests had room numbers assigned at the port.

As long as one is 16, younger can been in the cabin with them. We've heard adults behaving badly.

It won't work, whether you switch cabins when onboard, with your booking number both guests in a cabin, whatever age, must purchase the plus or Premier if you choose to do so. We've had first hand experience with this. We just purchased plus for all of us. Now our eldest is 16 and they still both get plus in their own cabin with their own booking number. Medallion access has nothing to do with plus.

"i regret to inform you"? Princess IS a family brand - our family loves cruising Princess. There's families who don't want all the roller coasters and mall type cruise ships. Ours is one of them. What happens when the older elites pass in 20 or so years? Princess needs new business. They spend more money, YOLO, instead of the penny pinchers. We like Plus for our family because there's no surprises what our final bill will be. They're doing quite well in our opinion.

Excellent review! We were on the 3 day prior to the eclipse cruise, then jumped over to the Sapphire 32 day since the TSE was sold out. Discovery was a hot mess on NYE, and the new hotel GM has really turned things around for the better. Cole is such fun as a CD!
