  1. Thank you so much. I found the excursions. I had been looking all over my account page of the cruise, not on the general cruise. Portolon, this is our replacement of the April 1, 2020 Miami to NY cruise. Surely hope we get to take this one.
  2. Since I am being hopeful we will be on our January 2021 cruise, I would like to look at excursions which can be booked on May 19. In the past there has been a place on Booked Cruises to look at excursions to review prior to booking. I can't find that now. Am I overlooking something? Thanks.
  3. I would also like to know what happens to the crew? Do they stay on the ship? Go home? Continue to be paid?
  4. Artsy-crafty, if I were in your shoes I definitely would stay on as you are. I had to cancel my April 1 cruise, but that’s a different situation. I am appalled at the rudeness of some posters. It really disappoints me. You enjoy yourself.
  5. We are 80 and 77 (as of five days ago), are in good health and are planning to sail on April 1. Since we can cancel 48 hours prior, the situation might warrant a change of plans, but that’s our thinking today.
  6. The one I got from Regent had the April 3 date, but the update from my TA has the new language. My agent said “let us know how you want us to proceed.” I told her we would wait about two weeks before deciding. We lean toward going if the ship is going! Because of our age, our travel insurance was expensive. I don’t know if the insurance company would apply it toward a future cruise or if we would lose those dollars. We will see what next week brings.
  7. I just got this from my travel agent. Appears April 3 date is no longer the key. It’s any paid for booked cruise through Sept 30 can be cancelled up to 48 hours before departure. We still hope to cruise April 1 but have a little time to see what develops in next couple of weeks. Did others on this cruise get this? CRUISE Dear Valued Guest and Travel Partner, Regent Seven Seas Cruises continues to closely monitor the coronavirus situation and update appropriate actions as the safety, security and well-being of all our guests and crew is our number one priority. With so much information coming from around the world very quickly, some may feel uneasy about traveling. Accordingly, we are introducing Regent Reassurance. For all voyages embarking through September 30, 2020, guests who have paid in full have the option to cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit, which can be applied to any new booking within one year on any Regent voyage sailing between now and December 31, 2022. We hope Regent Reassurance gives you the additional time, if needed, to evaluate conditions and help you feel confident in your decision to sail on your currently booked Regent voyage or to sail on a future one. Please know that our team is working tirelessly to navigate through these ever-changing circumstances – because our priority is to take care of you, our extended family. Our Chief Medical Officer maintains constant contact with relevant local, federal and global agencies to ensure we have timely information to maintain and enhance our stringent protocols, which we believe are among the most comprehensive in the travel industry. We have been highly successful in maintaining a healthy environment on board our ships, and the comprehensive set of preventative actions put in place will help us ensure the safety, health and well-being of all our guests and crew. You can learn more about these steps on our website, www.RSSC.com. We look forward to welcoming you on board. Sincerely,
  8. Thanks for the suggestions. We are trying wi fi calling at home now.
  9. I got confusing info from Verizon about using my phone during the April 1 cruise on Splendor. I want to be able to send and receive texts and calls if necessary. Seems there is an option of $10 a day if the phone is used or a pay as you go. She said to turn off cellular data and turn roaming on while on the ship. What do you Verizon experts do? Thanks for your suggestions.
  10. So excited about the joint blog. I have to wait until April 1. Enjoy!
  11. I had never had a Mexican Butterfly until our Explorer cruise. Really good.
  12. We spent four days in Vancouver prior to our Alaska cruise. There was so much to do and we loved it. We like to get on the ship midday day, have lunch and explore. I would be a nervous wreck trying to sightsee the morning of embarkation, but I see others say go for it. As far as the train, on our tour the windows were dirty and it was foggy, so it was boring. Enjoy your cruise!
  13. Jackie, just curious why you always contact corporate after a cruise. Enjoy your cruise.
  14. Is it just on embarkation day guests can board? I’d like to invite my sister for lunch when we are on Charleston.
  15. How do you find out who is entertaining on a cruise? Anyone know if Kasia and Boogie are on the April 1 Splendor cruise?
