  1. No question is dumb, we're all learning everyday. Yes, every cabin has a dryer. Usually fixed in a drawer near the mirror.
  2. We disembarked in Copenhagen, we didn't rush as we didn't want to arrive at our hotel early. But, the queue for a taxi was quite long and did take quite a while.
  3. We always did the same. Most of our trips would be at least 3 weeks, DH would always send shirts and trousers to be washed and pressed, keeping the luggage weight down. The change to one batch was bad enough, this is a very disappointing development.
  4. No facilities onboard for you to iron clothes yourself. You can send items for pressing via the laundry service. This isn't part of the laundry package, you can just send individual items. I've found wrinkle release spray is excellent or hanging items in the bathroom whilst showering. Everyone is in the same boat, no pun intended and no-one notices a few wrinkles.
  5. Exactly what Cellfree said 😊
  6. You're correct. Gold doesn't have priority boarding.
  7. It should be the Aurea experience that provides the benefits of the robe and diffuser rather than the cabin. The room steward will know your booking is a Bella experience. However, it's definitely worth asking. All they can do is say no.
  8. The Aurea dining is only until 9.30pm. The MSC shows are mostly about 45 minutes, if that helps with your timings.
  9. I feel your pain, some years ago we had a fabulous cruise on Divina and booked another, from Miami. Unfortunately, we didn't check that the USA had the same school holidays as the Uk. The first week was lovely. The second was hell. Butlins at sea was exactly my description. We were fortunate to be in YC and rarely left. Many places have a similar transformation during the holidays. We called at a restaurant for lunch last week (half term in our area last week) but decided against after entering. I hope with the few quiet spaces you've now discovered, you have a more enjoyable time.
  10. We had an Internet package on Meraviglia, no issues to report. Sometimes it's quicker than others, depends on volume of users. Generally, it was fine for emails and browsing. We weren't downloading or streaming, so I couldn't say if it was adequate for those activities.
  11. These are the Voyager Club gift, totally unrelated to YC. We had caps on a non YC sailing and pens on a YC sailing. It's totally pot luck. We have had no issues with food or wine, or service on any YC sailing. I have had totally different opinions on a cruise from fellow passengers on the same sailing. And different times of year and itinerary will also have a bearing. I have very different opinions on an unfortunate summer sailing from Miami than I do all of our other cruises with MSC. In YC you are paying for more than the food and wine, it's the environment and experience. I'd say you really need to try it to define your own opinion.
  12. Every morning we'd order a pot of coffee and hot milk from the breakfast menu. You just tick the appropriate boxes on the card before hanging out on the door. I think there should be some room service menus on here somewhere, I've definitely seen some posted. Although I think there are differences between ships and regions. We've taken cocktails back to our cabin from different bars, but not from Hola. I don't see any reason you couldn't do so. Our only pizza order was a few years ago but I'm going to guess at about 12 inches. Hope that helps a little.
  13. We've used a very similar plug without issue. We've also used the EU plugs for a similar adapter. The shaver plug in the bathroom doesn't charge phones, if I recall correctly
  14. You can check it on the app, if the ship has the app, on the cabin TV or at guest service.
  15. Have you been to see the concierge desk to raise any of these issues? That would definitely be my first step.
  16. If you wish to leave the ship for the day, you proceed as usual for an excursion and complete immigration on your return. All passengers must disembark and a zero count completed. If you don't wish to go ashore on a trip. You'll meet in a lounge, complete immigration and return to the ship. Your possessions and bags do not need to leave the ship with you.
  17. Perhaps they're having difficulty getting groups for contracts? On our flight to Genoa a few years ago, in front of us were a young man and young lady with a guitar. When we boarded the ship the next day, they were the duo entertaining in one of the lounges.
  18. A couple of years ago we were onboard until 29th October. I don't recall seeing anything Halloween related. Might have missed it but nothing springs back into mind.
  19. Personally, I'd feel confident the cabin had been cleaned and get on with my cruise. Presumably there hasn't been a mass outbreak on the ship or anything significant reported? And the other passengers are continuing as normal? I'm reassured there's nothing I'm missing from the original question though. Thank you.
  20. I also don't understand. I don't know what I'm missing that I should be concerned about. As I think I understand, a person on a ship that the OP isn't on but will embark soon, has chicken pox or something of that ilk. The passenger has been quarantined and presumably will disembark soon. And?
  21. As others have said above, the points for the cruise booking and any pre booked spending will be divided equally between both parties on the booking. Who ever registers their card for the final cabin bill, once on board will receive the additional onboard points.
  22. The OBC is credited to the final bill isn't it? So, if minor one purchases an item it will be added to the cabin bill and the OBC of adult one will cover it. In a scenario where we've had OBC per passenger in the same cabin, an OBC credit x2 has appeared on the final cabin bill. It isn't on the card but on the cabin account.
  23. It sounds as though yours had expired incorrectly, which maybe why it was reinstated. The threshold is cruise every 3 years but an extra year was added due to Covid. If your last cruise was 3 years ago, your status shouldn't had e expired. Posters have raised this question before but I don't recall anyone reporting any success. If you're beyond expiry, status is lost. Others may remember successful stories, however.
  24. A la carte - the main dining room or speciality restaurant? In the MDR water maybe included, it depends on the country you are booking from. Water is available in the buffet restaurant 24/7.
