  1. Why pay in full for a cruise that is a year away?
  2. Call your local news and National news! They will eat this up!
  3. Yes they have 2 BILLION in FCC and deposits on the books. Not sure if that was counted against the $250 Million cash on hand? I wouldn't think so? It will take some time to work through that. Going to be a bad couple years. No more free flights. That cost them a lot of profits! Big congrats to any one who bought at $7 and sold today at $14! Doubled your money!
  4. You see where NCL posted that they Borrowed the money? They did not apply for credit. They were smart and got all the cash they could right now to weather the storm!
  5. Add this to cash on hand! Item 2.03. Creation of a Direct Financial Obligation or an Obligation under an Off-Balance Sheet Arrangement of a Registrant. As previously disclosed, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., through its subsidiaries, NCL Corporation Ltd. (“NCLC”) and Voyager Vessel Company, LLC are parties to an $875 million revolving credit facility, dated as of January 2, 2019 and maturing on January 2, 2024, with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (“JPM”), as administrative agent and as collateral agent, and certain other lenders party thereto (the “Fourth Amended and Restated Credit Agreement”), and NCLC and Norwegian Epic, Ltd. are parties to a $675 million revolving credit facility, dated as of March 5, 2020 and maturing on March 4, 2021, with JPM, as administrative agent and as collateral agent, and certain other lenders party thereto (the “Norwegian Epic Credit Agreement”). Beginning on March 12, 2020, NCLC borrowed under both the Fourth Amended and Restated Credit Agreement and the Norwegian Epic Credit Agreement the full amount of $1.55 billion.
  6. As others have posted and in the 10K NCL puts up the ships to secure the loan. They have been borrowing money at LIBOR + 1%! Interest rates have been dropping and banks still need to make money. So they write new loans. They had 1.1 BILLION IN CASH as of last month.
  7. Yes and read the 10K. They refinance it at lower interest rates and save money.
  8. Great post! This means they are ONLY paying 25 million a month in interest. Not much! Payroll is what is hurting them right now and they just announced 20% reduced wages for salary employees. I'm sure we will find that the crews are being paid less as they are not working full time on the ships. Fair? Probably not, but they may not be able to do much about it if they want to keep their jobs next year.
  9. Yes you are correct. The BANKS will extend those lines of credit and keep making profit on those interest payments. Lots of people and companies will not survive this. Banks will hold on to loans that will keep them in business. How much is BILLION dollar ship worth at the repo yard? Better to keep Cruise lines in business.
  10. Cruzely has a good read on income and profits for the big 3. In reads NCL makes 2.6 million per day(2018) in profits. For this month, subtract fuel, food, booze and many others cost with each sailings. We think they are paying normal wages to all crew members, so don't subtract that. How much PROFIT are they losing this month? 30-45 Million? It hurts, but not bankruptcy!
  11. Officials in Maryland, Michigan, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon and the District of Columbia have announced that schools in their states will be closed for several weeks amid concerns about the coronavirus. The statewide closures come after many school districts and dozens of colleges and universities have temporarily closed because of the COVID-19 disease. Michigan is closed till 4/6/20
  12. Please show me were I asked for the person name? They can show a email with name blanked out! You don't think the news lies everyday? They print stories from the top everyday without checking the facts!
  13. So were is the email? What was the date on it? I could call the news and say I work for anybody, but can't tell you my name! Even the story says they were told to call 150 per day, yet then goes on to say most calls were about canceling?
  14. $4k? I don't see it? This includes all free options?
