  1. Hi, what happens if I make final payment and want to switch the credit card I used to pay? Is there any chance ncl would charge the amount into a different card?
  2. Hi, I am thinking about a cruise on the Getaway for the holidays. has anyone cruised on this ship recently? wondering how the shows are, entertainment, staff and live music options. How are the speciality restaurants? Is it worth it to get the dining package on this ship? are there comedy shows? How is the dueling piano bar also does anyone know if the Getaway has been equipped with the upgraded hepa air filters?
  3. Thanks for the info. What policy is it that you are referring to that has been recommended with helpful staff? Does anyone know what would happen if one person across two cabins for 4 people tested positive? Would insurance cover just the one or both cabins for hotel and quarantine and travel interruption? Would Ncl or insurance cover the full family if travel and exposed to each other for a future cruise credit?

Based on this absolutely awful response to a positive covid test when believing in ncl and also taking a test prior I am now reconsidering my cruise on ncl We were assured that if someone tested positive after a negative test 3 days prior that ncl would help through the quarantine at a hotel process and not just for a mere one night. We also were told about a $100/day stipend. another concern was that if we gave two cabins and one person is positive and can’t board that the other 3 across the two rooms won’t want to travel without that person. We were assured that if this happened to a family across rooms that we could opt for a cruise credit the day of boarding. Does anyone have any more insight into positive at pier passengers and why ncl is not taking care of these people denied boarding or if we can’t trust ncl? If so many people are testing positive for being vaccinated and we now have to worry about ncl turning their back on positive tested guests, I’m unsure what to do.
  5. Hi, RCL insurance seems more expensive and covers less than third party insurance. Is there any reasonably priced travel insurance that would cover -flight and travel a day or two prior and after a cruise -medical expenses and sufficient evacuation coverage -Refund or credit not just if someone tests positive 72 hours prior to or upon arrival for a covid test but if someone on the same reservation is in a different cabin and doesn’t want to sail or feel comfortable sailing and leaving behind a family member in a separate cabin who may test positive prior to or upon arrival at the pier Is there anything that Royal Caribbean would cover regardless of insurance? To my understanding it seems they would cover the cabin only for a credit or refund and hotel expenses if negative 72 hours prior. Would rcl or insurance cover the cabin or traveling party if someone tests positive 72 hours prior to traveling to avoid them from having to travel positive and show up at the pier positive just to get a credit or refund? I used to purchase travel guard or traveled and wondering if these are still good policies. thank you very much.

  9. Hi, if I get free at sea dining and drinks, how many speciality dining meals can each person have? On a 5 day cruise is it one per person total or it one per person per day? I’m hoping to be able to try various specialty venues with the free at sea offer over the 5 night cruise.

Hi, I want to take a cruise with older family members but only want to do so on a ship with the upgraded air. ncl website states that ships are in the process of being updated which doesn’t help not knowing which ships have the upgraded air. Does anyone know which ships have updated hepa air filters and in particular if the breakaway or getaway have upgraded air? thanks.

Hi, I really want to book a cruise with ncl, but aside from how insanely expensive a 5 night sailing is, I’m a little frustrated into the lack of flexibility they offer in the environment we are still in. Curious if anyone has any insight. -They claim their ships are being updated for hepa air filters but don’t list which ships have this. This is important when traveling with older family members and would be nice to know which ships currently have upgraded air. -Cancellation - Royal now has a pay upon 30 days from sailing and free cancellation while ncl seems to have their regular payment and cancellation with a hefty penalty policy. This is frustrating. -Testing - while I appreciate the precaution, at pier testing seems a little much after traveling with the ability to be denied the day of travel. If they are going to require this, I’m concerned not just about paying for airfare to be denied boarding if one person gets a negative test while vaccinated but what happens if we have a few staterooms but only one person in one stateroom tests positive? Does that mean that our family trip has to be ruined and if we don’t want to leave a positive vaccinated family member behind that we would lose all money for all staterooms? If worst case happened I would not want us to split up with kids over 18 on their rooms taking the vacation with or without us depending who may test positive. Would ncl allow all guests connected to a reservation the option to get a refund or cancel if one person tested positive? Accommodating the impacted stateroom only and not traveling party is a big turnoff if mandating both vaccination and on site testing. What happens if one or more people test positive 3 days prior can we all opt for a refund or credit? Same if someone in the party who is vaccinated tests positive at the pier after testing negative 3 days prior - can everyone in the party and not just the stateroom at least get a credit if not a refund or do we have to be on edge that we may have to waste time traveling to then hVe to decide whether to travel with half the family or risk losing all money paid for family members in staterooms that aren’t in the direct room of a positive family member from at pier testing? curious if anyone has any experience with the above or shares any of the same concerns that are preventing us from booking a trip we otherwise would want to take.

Hi, I am contemplating a cruise in the next few months from Florida on Norwegian and have a few questions. -For testing, is it true that despite requiring vaccinations Norwegian is requiring testing at the pier? Are they covering the cost of pier testing? -If testing is mandated at the pier without an option to get tested a day prior, what happens if someone who is vaccinated tests positive? I would much rather take a test a day prior on my own than spend the time and money traveling from New York to Florida with the possibility of being rejected. Seems a little much and unnecessary and may go with a line that requires vaccines and testing a day prior rather than at the pier after traveling. -For a December cruise, does anyone think the pricing may come down? By the week it is fluctuating a lot in both directions and is still very expensive but if it comes down 20 percent I’d consider a cruise on Norwegian -Are ships going to be at full occupancy? Is there going to be regular entertainment? -Since everyone is tested and vaccinated, are masks optional? -Did NCL replace the air filtration with the special updated hepa filters?   13. Hi,I am considering a cruise on ncl and held off due to pricing. Recently the price came down from 4600 to 3000 which is much more reasonable. Does anyone think pricing will come down more? Does anyone have insight into if ships are being booked or if empty? I’d pricing comes down, at what point can I be guaranteed the lower price? I think Royal Caribbean just announced a 30 day out cancellation policy - does ncl have something similar for best price guaranty and cancellation flexibility? Also if everyone has to be vaccinated will we be able to be mask free on ships in the us? Thank you very much.
  14. Hi, I often enjoy different types of live music when on cruises whether a house band for pop hits, reggae music and other types of live music. Aside from djs, does virgin have live music from different types of bands on the ship? I also haven’t seen much about entertainment aside from the shows - what kind of activities are there?
  15. Thank you. What’s confusing is I thought lines weren’t allowed to require vaccines from Florida. I am hoping some do and that I can find a line and ship out of Florida where vaccines are required and no masks indoors are needed despite Florida’s law not mandating vaccines for entry
