  1. We haves used Park n Go for Port Everglades at least a dozen times. They are reasonably priced if you pay in advance. Their best attribute is the number of shuttles they run. Wait times are minimal and they handle all your luggage both ways.
  2. We have used Park n Go at least a dozen times. They run a very efficient operation. They have plenty of vans and lots of staff. When going to the ship, they wait for the vans to fill up but that is usually 5 minutes or less. I wouldn’t bother dropping off luggage at the port. When picking us off the ship, we have sometimes left immediately with just us on the van as there were shuttles right behind us. They take you right to your car and will even load your car if you want. We tip the driver both coming and going. in all of our trips, we went straight to our ship, no multiple stops. If you pay in advance, the cost is way less than the port and there is minimal walking involved.
  3. When doing an open booking on board, you can tell the NextCruise desk that you don’t want your future cruise to go to your current agent. They will make you fill out a form leaving the booking unassigned. I do that when I plan to use casino credit on the future cruise as my T/A doesn’t get much commission.
  4. Was so looking forward to the 2lb lobster at Hooked Seafood on the Symphony of the Seas last week. I knew something was up when the menu had the number 2 crossed out next to the word lobster. What we got was likely a 1-1/4 pound lobster which was just a few bites. The waitress saw we were disappointed so she brought us a couple of lobster tails. Everything else on the menu was good but we cancelled our future reservations on upcoming sailings.
  5. I e-mailed the parking authority about the delay exiting the surface lots and received this response: I am the parking manager here at Cape Liberty Cruise. Due to the weather and the condition we were in, we did our best to get you out in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we were understaffed and we had to make sure everyone paid was able to come out. I do apologize for the wait time, and I understand having more than one exit would be appreciated. I will take that into consideration, and hopefully you will travel with us in the future. If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
  6. 18% is added to the price you pay as a gratuity. Since you are paying half, it’s appropriate (not required) to add a little extra. I always tip extra in cash as it has a better chance of actually going to the server.
  7. Only one exit gate for hundreds of cars exiting surface lot. Gate doesn’t open without a paid receipt.
  8. We have cruised many times from Cape Liberty. Today, 9/24/23 we experienced over a 30 minute wait around 7:30 am just to exit the surface lot after our Oasis of the Seas cruise. Some in our sailing experienced worse. We live in Virginia and had a 350 mile drive home so the delay added to our already long trip. We paid for parking by the garage like you are supposed to do. There was only on gate to exit the surface lot where the majority of the 6,000 guests were parked. They recently increased parking fees to $30 per day. I hope they put this money into more exits to end these delays.
  9. Normally the parking garage is reserved for handicapped. Tell the parking attendant at the garage you are B2B and they prefer that you park in the garage. No reservation needed. You get a ticket upon entry and pay as you exit the terminal before you go to your car. On my triple cruise in May, the kiosk would accept the very large parking bill but they quickly processed in the garage office. Its $30 per day.
  10. Who needs sides, al la carte ribs for $6 is a real bargain. Hard for me to finish.
  11. Just over 13 weeks for us (non-expedited).
  12. The Oasis Diamond lounge coffee maker was great. Its a new machine and available 24/7. We get up very early and only on one occasion was the machine was out of beans. I wish I could say the same for the Oasis suite lounge coffee machine. They removed the grounds container at night and didn't turn the machine until 6:00am.
  13. You will need to complete the online check in again for your second cruise. It doesn’t matter what arrival time you choose as you are already on the ship. Some ships make you get off briefly on turnaround day, others have you wait onboard until the ship is cleared. You B2B letter will specify.
  14. I have some black WOW Bands that do not have a muster station printed on them, no issue getting these reprogrammed. Some have reported difficulty in reprogramming WOW Bands that have your old muster station printed on them.
  15. Nearing Port Canaveral now, while technically not skipped, arrival is now expected at 5:30 pm, all aboard at 7:30 pm. The Anthem usually gets provisions at Port Canaveral.
  16. You have up to 30 days to transfer the reservation to a Travel Agent. https://rccl.my.salesforce-sites.com/directtransfers/DTTRoyal
  17. The current reservation process is to reserve shows after you board and connect for free to the ship’s WiFi with the Royal Caribbean App. Some ships have just started to allow reservations in advance closer to the sailing date so keep checking the App. Most of the show schedules you can search for on-line are from the New York sailings. I haven’t seen the Miami sailing schedule yet. Comedy show reservations go fast. Be sure to reserve Aqua 80, it’s a great show in the Aquatheatre.
  18. Pearl MGM status doesn’t list any benefits for Royal. That said, Prime level on Royal is not too difficult to achieve. You need 2,500 points for Prime ($5 in slot play earns 1 point). You do not have to earn all 2,500 points in a single cruise. They accumulate from April 1 to March 30. As soon as you hit 2,500 points, you are Prime until March 30 and again for the following year’s March 30. Prime gets you free drinks when the casino is open as well as a free cruise (inside cabin). The casino host will also have a sheet listing awards/discounts for points earned during.a cruise. These can vary by month.
  19. We have a gold MGM card as a result of our Crown and Anchor status. We were just at the Borgata and received the Gold card benefits, Amphora Lounge access using $12.50 in comps, no resort fee and dedicated check-in line.
  20. Depending on the ship, sometimes they designate one waiter to be a “runner” to handle special requests in Coastal Kitchen. It’s helpful to give the host or manager a heads up the day before of a special request.
  21. Unless you are Star Class, you wait with everyone until you get through the main door. After that there is a separate line for Suites/Pinnacle starting at the security checkpoint.
  22. Oasis has Indian food on day seven dinner in the Windjammer. Great Butter Chicken and Lamb Curry.
