  1. On our most recent cruise on Allure (April 2019) the walk up line had a wait of about 45 minutes at around 8 pm . We saw this on two occasions. Luckily we had reserved our times. We usually book times between 8 pm to 8:30 pm as we do enjoy a little bar hopping for pre dinner cocktails. WE use to do the walk up but find the wait is getting longer and longer to get a table (On the Oasis class ships) so we do make reservations now. We never have trouble getting a table for two.
  2. Another Hilton option not mentioned in Brickell area is the Conrad. Amazing views from their lobby bar.
  3. These Pics of the new Amped Nav are fantastic. So much so that I have just booked a 4 nighter out of Miami. This will be my fifth time on Navigator but first since the revamp. OP you should get the commission for my booking because your pics sold me to go and check it out myself. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Go to guest relations with proof of your excursion time. I am sure they will be accommodating although it is not a RCL tour.
  5. Thanks for the replies. I know uber does take cash in certain countries. They did here in Trinidad when they operated. They have since pulled out. Their competition here also takes cash.
  6. Does uber in Miami offer a pay by cash option?
  7. Miami airport Marriott offers a rate inclusive of shuttle to the port. Not sure if the rate includes parking or if you will have to pay the daily rate but parking is available. Parking at the port is also an available option if you cant find a hotel to your liking.
  8. Downtown hotels are more expensive than airport area hotels (generally). Downtown mall , Brickell City Center has some very high end stores and expensive. You can stay at the Miami airport Marriott. There are three hotels on the one site so you have options to compare prices. A Marriott, A courtyard Marriott and a Residence inn. They offer airport shuttles about every 20 minutes. The Marriott also offers a rate that includes transport to the port. Decent pool on site. About 20 minutes away is the huge Dolphin Mall. They also have a shuttle that collects people at the Marriott.
  9. Does anyone know if the refurbished Navigator O.S. Izumi offers the hot rock? The cruise planner is only showing a pre fixed menu that does not include Hot Rock for $49.99. It also says this offer is only available through the cruise planner.
  10. In April this year they were available in the windjammer most mornings.
  11. Just one more reason I use a TA. Let them handle the issues. Gives me piece of mind and saves a lot of stress and time trying to explain issues with half trained reps.
  12. Try the Trellis Bar in central park for an evening cocktail. There is usually some live solo musician playing near by and sounds lovely through out the Central Park.
  13. Thank you very much. The link and info is very much appreciated.
  14. Is there a way of finding out how many ships will be docked at Coco Cay on any particular day without having to go through all the ships Itineraries? I remember there use to be a site that showed ships at various ports. Is Coco cay listed on that site and if so can someone please guide me to the sight. Specifically looking for August 28th 2019. When Navigator will be there. Thank you in advance.
  15. Well it appears in this case RCL is doing just that. Predicting rough seas and cancelling a port nearly a year out.
