No need for the angst. Just appear at the MDR of your choice when you're hungry . . . and you will be fed. As noted above, some have requested the same MDR with the same server and have gotten it. If you like your first night's arrangements, ask for that.

But if are walking around in Rome with a lanyard....
Sure. But the Romans still know the tourists. You'll be doing, you know, tourist things.

Never did and never will! First I am on vacation and not on a convention, second - How could I look more touristy? 😁😉
Everyone on a ship is a tourist. It's not the lanyard that gives you away. 😉

Good day! Where can I find the spreadsheet you referred to? TIA
It's a sticky at the top of the Celebrity page here on CC. Cabin info for S-class ships.

Can't go wrong there. I think 417 might be a toll road as well. I try to stay away from that area in general because inevitably, my wallet starts to hemorrhage money, it's a big mess 😂
Yes, SR-417 (the GreeneWay) is a toll road. Much of it from about I-Drive to the Beachline is under construction, so there can be delays.

Hey Tar Heel 87 (from Tar Heel 92), thanks for the review. We were on Reflection from March 16-24 and overall had a great time. Glad you did, too.

Time to head to GS and request a meeting with the HD. That'll probably get you more results than posting here.

How exactly do you book the SV cabins? Did a mock booking and couldn't access any. What category do you book from? Aqua class etc
You'll book from the veranda category. If you don't see any, they're sold out.

Regarding the tables close together: the people at the other tables may not want to chat. 😉 Try to read the vibe before pretending y'all are at the same table on purpose.

New to Celebrity and sailing Solstice in July. I see now that I can make dining reservations, but how do we know what time shows might be when choosing? Seems like it’s a bit of a guess when booking without knowing the event schedules. Am I missing something?
Shows are 7 and 9 or maybe 7:30 and 9:30.

We had one on deck 7 never heard a sound from Eden.
I'm glad for you. It was so bad for us that Guest Relations moved us to another cabin.

Sort of off topic, but Elites no longer have priority boarding, only Suites and Zenith do.
On topic, I agree with the above: just take a cab or an Uber.
-
On the E-class ships, "bad" sunset verandas are on the deck immediately above Eden due to noise. I wouldn't want one of those again.

New to Celebrity...
On the 45th day, am I able to select a time (12:30pm) or just assigned one? TIA
You can choose from the times that are available when you check in.

Just answer the health questions in the app the day before you depart and show up at your port arrival time. Being late won't matter unless you miss the deadline for being on the ship before it sails.

Just checked ‘ Manage My Booking ‘ via the website and all the reservations I made using the planner are showing …..no effort , quick and easy.
Yes, but more often than not, Apex (as an E-class ship) is all open seating. You may find differently, but really you just need to pick a DR and show up to eat.

Thanks, so if our port arrival time is later can we ask it to be moved eariler?
Also what is "first night discount"?No, your arrival time is what it is. Check in ASAP and you should be able to get an earlier time.
"First-night discount" is just that: in the cruise planner, you'll see the specialty restaurants offer a discount for booking on the first night of the cruise. Other discounts are few and far between.

You'll check in 45 days in advance. That will get you a port arrival time, when you'll have a quick passport check before you board when the ship is ready (and priority guests have boarded).
- We dined in Lawn Club Grill last week and enjoyed it. Booked with the first night discount in the cruise planner and used some OBC.

It's for people who want to visit the Kennedy Space Center or one of the Orlando theme parks (yes, I think going to Orlando is a waste of time, too, but...).
A 1-9 port stop makes both of those ideas less than ideal. KSC needs a day, and it closes at 5 or 6. Orlando needs an hour on each end for travel, so that leaves maybe 6 hours for a theme park--also not enough time.

I checked in this morning about one hour after check in opened for my cruise. I got a 10 a.m. boarding time which is the earliest I've ever boarded a cruise ship. Very happy with the time and the check-in process on Celebrity. It is better than NCL and MSC's which is my most frequent cruise providers.
Just remember it's a check-in time. You won't be boarding at 10 a.m.

You can take small bags on the Skyride.
The details of the excursion should show what's included. The entrance fee is $7. We paid $40 for two chairs and an umbrella last week (on our own).

I'd never heard of the Corona Cigar Company, but it appears its two locations are in Orlando. I wouldn't stay at the coast to backtrack to one of those. If that's not a must, and depending on the time of year, I'd stay at the coast. (Time of year = water warm enough to swim)
